What Is Etheric Body and How to Clear and Strengthen It.

What Is Etheric Body and How to Clear and Strengthen It.

Becky Storey.

Your etheric body plays an important role in how you feel and how you think. Your physical wellbeing and mental health are closely connected, and both rely heavily on the health and strength of your etheric body.

If it is weakened, then you probably aren’t feeling so great either. Spending a little time taking care of your etheric body by clearing and strengthening it could make a lifetime of difference.

What Is Etheric Body?

Aura

An aura is an electromagnetic energy field that surrounds us all. From humans to animals and even objects, everything has an aura of some sort.

The aura is what gives us that “vibe” we get from other people. When, without getting to know someone first, you just have “a feeling” about them, you’re actually reading their aura.

Some people, animals or things could have a negative aura or a positive aura. If you’re tuned into noticing it, you’re the type of person who can get a good feel for someone’s personality from just one conversation.

Layers of The Aura

Every aura is made up of 7 layers, each one with its own purpose and impact.

The innermost layer is your physical body and less than an inch outside of it is the etheric layer, the densest layer. Following the etheric layer is the emotional layer, mental layer, spiritual or etheric temple layer, the celestial body and finally the ketheric body.

These layers are also known as the subtle bodies and each one is connected to a corresponding chakra.

Etheric Body

The etheric body is the physical plane of the aura. Due to its close proximity, it is deeply connected to your physical body. It has ties to your physical health, all your bodily sensations, including pain and pleasure.

It is linked with the root chakra, which among other things, is associated with our basic human needs. The etheric body is considered to be responsible for sensations of hot and cold, and even hunger and thirst. Our physical bodies and etheric bodies are so closely connected that sometimes the etheric body is called a metaphysical twin.

Some spiritualists believe that each part of the physical body has an equal replica within the etheric layer, including all of the organs. Even if one is removed, the etheric version still exists to protect us.

The 5 senses are also the responsibility of the etheric body. It is the medium through which we experience the world. It receives the energies of the world around us and this affects our own energy.

The etheric body delivers energy to your physical body, be it positive or negative. Similarly, the physical body’s experiences affect your etheric body and the kind of energy it provides. The relationship is cyclical, if you do not take care of one, the other will suffer too, and the cycle will continue.

The emotional and mental layers are connected to the etheric layer too. This gives more meaning to the theory that our emotions and mental health deeply impact how our bodies feel.

Clearing the Etheric Body

Sometimes, the etheric body can become blocked and its functions will suffer for it. The connection between the etheric and the physical bodies is so deep that these blockages can heavily impact how we feel, some even suggest that our health is at risk.

If you haven’t been maintaining and improving your etheric body, then you might need to consider clearing before you can move on.

Blockages can be caused by anything that would typically harm the physical body. This could include a poor diet, lack of sleep, poor air quality and of course, stress. A lack of exercise will also lead to blockages as exercise is considered to be energetically cleansing.

Blockages can also be caused by the kind of energy your etheric body takes in. If you spend time in negative places with negative people, you’re going to pick that up too. Anxious thoughts have very low vibrations. The lower the vibration, the more blocking it is.

You can clear your etheric body by detoxing from the typical challenges to your physical health but be aware that a detox can lead to mental stress.

The best ways to clear your etheric body involve meditation and full-body scans. Whilst you meditate, take each body part in turn and visualize letting go of negativity. You can also visualize your aura becoming clearer.

Strengthening the Etheric Body

A strong etheric body is better able to withstand negative influences and remain positive. When your etheric layer is strong, your physical body is too. Just like strengthening the physical body, the best way to add strength to the etheric body is to stay on top of your health.

Make sure your diet is varied and healthy. Exercise regularly, in a way that makes you happy. Breathe fresh air. Most importantly, make sure your anxieties and stress are under control. If anxiety is the lowest liberating influence, you want as little of it as possible (easier said than done!).

Strengthen your etheric layer by accessing all sorts of natural energies. Energy from nature is naturally strengthening and the more different kinds of energy you expose your etheric body to, the better prepared it’ll be to protect you.

Your etheric body is valuable and should be cared for, just as it cares for you. Consider it a protective cushion that surrounds you. Build it strong, and it will keep you safe.

What Is the Spiritual Meaning of 222 and What to Do If You See It Everywhere?

Becky Storey.

https://www.learning-mind.com/

January 14, 2020

Numbers each carry a special spiritual meaning, and when you see the number 222, the universe is likely sending you an important message.

The universe is always trying to communicate with us. It may be trying to guide us, remind us, or teach us. We receive constant signs and messages from the universe and our spirit guides, but whether we are tuned into them dictates whether we understand their spiritual meaning or not.

People who are aware of, and open to, these signs from the universe are going to be more settled in themselves and often more prosperous. Some signs can be considered praise – confirmation that you’re on the right path. Others serve as cosmic warnings that you should be wary and even consider a change.

The universe communicates in a number of ways. These include dreams, meaningful coincidences, or even the feeling of a “presence”. The universe also uses numbers to communicate with us. This method is known as numerology.

These signs often come in the form of repeated number patterns, such as 222, and each number holds its own spiritual meaning. Numerology is a straightforward way for the universe to communicate with even the least spiritual people.

The Spiritual Meaning Of 222

The Number 2

Each number between 1 and 10, and some multiple digit numbers, have a spiritual meaning. Some call these angel numbers. Even in the bible, numbers also have meaning.

The number 2 stands for valid testimony and truth. Its spiritual meaning is similar. It is a sign that you are on the path of discovering your own truth, or that your inclinations about your possible true path are correct.

The Number 222

The spiritual meaning of 222 is similar to its singular form. It is a confirmation that you should continue on the path that you are on. Do you often notice the number 222, or three 2’s in sequence?

For some, this could be waking in the night at 2:22 and seeing the time on your clock. Maybe you notice it on a phone number or tv channel. Wherever it may be, if you feel aware of it regularly, it may have a deeper spiritual meaning for your life.

When you see the number 222 and it registers with you as something special, it is a message from your spirit guide telling you that your intuition is correct. It tells you that your current movements are in line with your life’s purpose.

It is considered a calling from the universe to your higher self to continue to reach your goals because you’re going towards your true calling.

Seeing this symbolism when you’re doubting yourself can be invaluable. By understanding the spiritual meaning of 222, you will know how to act when the message appears. If you’re feeling unsure, it will confirm your instincts.

Receiving the 222 message may not always be telling you that you should carry on in the way you’re already going. If you’re sensing that you’re on the wrong path when you’re met with this message from the spirit guides, it is likely to tell you to follow that intuition. It is telling you that your thoughts have finally aligned with the truth.

What Should You Do If You See 222 Everywhere?

If you can’t seem to escape from instances of the 222 message, you should tune in and listen. It is easy to be skeptical about the communications of spirits, many people are. Take this opportunity to have faith, what is there to lose?

Consider this a sign that you should check in with yourself and your goals, and if your thoughts lead you to want to continue on your current path, or if your instincts tell you that this isn’t your true calling.

If you want to fully embrace the spirituality of this message, you could turn to meditation or meditative activities such as yoga. During these thoughtful sessions, you should try to access your higher self. Take notice of what makes your soul and spirit feel content.

This could be by visualizing your career or relationships, or even hobbies and passions. When you land on something that makes you feel complete, this may, in fact, be the true calling that the universe is trying to tell you about. If you’re in tune with the universe and yourself, you’ll know what it is when you feel it.

Once you’ve found something you feel a spiritual pull towards, ruminate on it. Maybe you knew instantly what the 222 message was pointing you towards or maybe you had to consider it for a while. Whichever way around it was, it is now time to put your plans into action.

Let the spiritual meaning of 222 guide you to your true calling. Make plans and arrangements that will, step by step, lead you to exactly where you need to be.

Ultimately, the spiritual meaning of 222 is a simple one. It is a symbol for new beginnings and progressing what already exists.

When you’re faced with this number sequence, understand that your thoughts have aligned with your true life’s purpose. Perhaps you know what this is, or maybe you have to search for it. However it may come to you, this is the universe’s way of telling you that you are on the right path. Your true calling may be closer than you think.

The Five Buddha Families and How They Can Help You Understand Yourself

By Valerie Soleil.

learning-mind.com.

Posted December 25th, 2019.

The Five Buddha Families are a vital principle in Buddhist philosophy. Buddhism is primarily concerned with reaching a state of Enlightenment, wholly separated from the individualistic and earth-bound tendencies of the Ego. Through the purging of ego-based beliefs and emotions, we grow to inhabit a space of Connection and Oneness with the Source. As a result, we become intimately conscious of being at One with All Creation.

Granted, we aren’t all Buddhist monks seeking absolute Enlightenment. Yet, the techniques that have been developed for this purpose can still be helpful in our own spiritual journeys.

In the first place, they can help us to understand our emotional landscapes. Secondly, they can help transcend limiting beliefs that might be holding us back from a higher consciousness. One of these techniques is known as the Five Buddha Families.
What are the Five Buddha Families?
Five Families, Five Emotional Energies

The Five Buddha Families help us to understand and work with emotional energies. Each family is the expressions of a state of being, represented by a Dhyani, or Meditation, Buddha. A season, element, symbol, colour and position on a five-sided mandala is associated with every family. Similarly, every state of being has its pure, wise or balanced form. Also, its klesha, imbalanced or deluded form.

The Five Buddha Families and their associated meditations provide a means of recognising which aspects of our emotional energy are out of balance. Subsequently, we can meditate on or pray to the appropriate family to regain equilibrium. In addition, we can seek to purge or pacify the emotional delusion that is holding us from Enlightenment.

The Five Buddha Families present a comprehensive understanding of the natural human condition. For instance, showing the interplay and dialogue between Enlightened and Deluded states of being rather than deny or repress Deluded states, the Five Meditation Buddhas call upon us to acknowledge and recognise them. Thus transforming their emotional force into positive energies.

The Five Families approach is not static or written in stone. Generally speaking, it’s a method by which we can identify our prevailing state of being.

Likewise, it is the perspective from which we are currently engaging with the world. This might be different from one year to the next, from one day to the next, or even from one hour to the next! It’s simply a guide so we can understand where we are coming from, and how this can help or hinder us.
Without further ado, here are the Five Buddha Families:
The Buddha Family

Lord: Vairochana, One Who Completely Manifests
Symbol: wheel
Element: space

Position in mandala: Centre

Colour: white
Enlightened State: making space
Deluded State: ignorance or dullness

The Buddha aspect is the one that allows the other families to function. In effect, acting as the root of these emotional energies. When in balance, we can make space for ourselves and others to better manifest our truth. Nevertheless, if our Buddha aspects are off-kilter, we can sink into lethargy. In other words, a spiritually unproductive space where nothing is being manifested.
The Varja Family

Lord: Akshobhya, The Unshakeable One
Symbol: vajra
Season: winter
Element: water

Position: East
Colour: blue
Enlightened State: purifying our perception of reality
Deluded State: anger

The Vajra family is all about the precision and intellectual exactness that allows us to perceive life with clarity. Emotions can often taint our perception of reality. However, Akshobhya calls us to sit with our feelings to recognise their causes.

Finding clarity within the emotion is crucial for not giving in to all-consuming anger. Of course, this can cloud our judgement and hides reality from us. Just as still pools reflect our truth back to us, or steady streams lead us to the ocean, turbulent waters and rushing rivers make it harder to perceive reality.
The Ratna Family

Lord: Ratnasambhava, Source of Preciousness
Symbol: jewel
Season: autumn
Element: earth

Position: South

Colour: yellow
Enlightened State: equanimity
Deluded State: pride

The Ratna Family is associated with merit, wealth and generosity. We know what is good and has value. For this reason, we do our best to attract it or increase its presence in our lives. Albeit, without falling into the trap of hoarding or avarice.

In remaining balanced and equanimous in our attitude to wealth, riches and merit, we steer clear of growing prideful and mean. We understand that we reap what we sow. Moreover, like the earth, we work to multiply the riches and merit around us. All in the spirit of appreciation, generosity and love.
The Padma Family

Lord: Amitabha, Infinite Light
Symbol: Lotus flower
Season: spring
Element: fire

Position: West
Colour: red
Enlightened State: empowering discrimination, seeing clearly what is needed
Deluded State: desirous attachment

This family is often linked with creativity and the arts. This is because of the association with passion and spring. However, this wisdom lies in discriminating love and attachment. It knows what to attract or reject for the betterment of our spiritual journey. As such, much like a flaming torch, it lights the way towards what we need.

Fatuous and temporary fascination or seduction, on the other hand, is misguiding. Consequently, it can lead us astray for our path of spiritual growth.
The Karma Family

Lord: Amogasiddhi, One Who Accomplishes What is Meaningful

Symbol: double vajra
Season: summer
Element: air

Position: north
Colour: green
Enlightened State: accomplishing good
Deluded State: jealousy

The Karma family very much encapsulates ‘doing.’ This means accomplishing things with meaning and impact. For example, picture an invigorating breath of fresh air on a hot summer’s day. This Karma aspect is energising and purposeful. However, if we are consumed with jealousy for another, it’s difficult to achieve anything based on good intentions. More to the point, our selfless drive and ambition can be hampered.
Finding Your Buddha Family

Which family do you identify with most? Are you more in the balanced or imbalanced state of being? As previously mentioned, the answer to these questions might change from day-to-day, month-to-month, or year-to-year. Still, it is good to regularly reflect on your perspective through the lens of the Five Buddha Families. Only then can you work towards maintaining balanced states of mind in all aspects.
Final Thoughts

We all veer from love and passion to jealousy and possession. Or from thoughtful discrimination to harsh, destructive anger. Ultimately, the Five Meditation Buddhas are the perfect tools with which to bring our Soul back to the centre.

After all, we should be ready to use our emotions for the progress of our spiritual journeys. Not let them be barriers to our growth.

What Is the Spiritual Meaning of Winter Solstice and How to Embrace It?

Becky Storey.

https://www.learning-mind.com/

December 22nd, 2019.

This year, Winter Solstice falls on December 22nd. This day will see the shortest daylight and longest night time of the entire year. We celebrate Winter Solstice when our part of the Earth is furthest away from the light, and warmth, of the sun. Some consider this day to signify the start of winter, while others view it as “mid-winter”. Astronomically, the Winter Solstice signifies the days changing from primarily dark, to increasingly lighter.

There is also a much deeper spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice. Religious, spiritual and skeptical people alike take part in rituals that make the most of this magical night.

The Spiritual Meaning of Winter Solstice

During this time of year, we celebrate endings and beginnings. Some believers associate the Winter Solstice with the birth of Jesus. Others consider the day to have been the “birth of the sun”. There are also similarities between the spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice and this time of yearly transition.

Embrace the Darkness

At this time of year, the darkness seems to be unavoidable. For most of us, we start and end our days in the dark, even if we’re only on a 9-5 schedule. It’s no wonder that moods drop during the winter season.

The Winter Solstice, in fact, signifies the end of darkness and the slow hike to days of light. After this spiritual night, the number of daylight hours we see will grow longer. The spiritual meaning of winter solstice is in its symbolism for “darkness” and patiently waiting for “light”. The Winter Solstice signifies the final moments of peaceful solitude we might have before the busier season of Spring arrives.

We are encouraged during this time to enjoy the stillness while we have it. The spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice is based on beliefs we all already hold – it is the concept behind the phrase “it’s always darkest before the dawn”.
Wait for The Light

If one half of the spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice is the darkness, then the other is the light. This current moment might feel far away from any spring-time sunshine, and an eternity from long summer nights – but it’s not.

Winter Solstice is the shortest day we’ll experience. We know that, though it may only be by seconds at first, more light is on its way. Patience is practiced at this time of year, the sunshine will return, we simply have to wait. During this time, we develop our ability to have faith that better things are on their way.

This is reflected in nature as animals go into hibernation during the darkest parts of the year. They wait patiently for the light to trickle back into their lives. Just as the darkness symbolizes both physical and spiritual “endings”, the spiritual meaning of the light is new beginnings.

Spiritual people use this time of year to look into their future and plan what fresh starts they will enjoy in the new solar year.

How to Embrace the Spiritual Meaning of Winter Solstice?

The best way to embrace the spiritual energy of Winter Solstice is to accept the light and the dark and relish them both. The benefits of one do not have to be the downfalls of the other. They will both allow you to grow, just in different ways.

If you’re searching for a way to connect to the spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice, some suggest taking 15 minutes either side of the sunrise to look inwards and reflect first on the year gone by, then on the year to come.
New Light

When the sun rises during the Winter Solstice, a new solar cycle begins. The sunlight finally brings the year’s longest period of dark to a close. New beginnings are what come to mind. Spiritualists encourage rituals based on light during this phase.

If you aren’t looking to get too involved, you could light candles or even a bonfire. If you would like to embrace the full spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice, you could burn tokens of your troubles or past you’d like to leave behind. Be it pictures, or old notes, or even thoughts written onto paper, by tossing them into a fire, you’re allowing the light to take away your darkness.

Take advantage of the few daylight hours we have on the days over the Winter Solstice. Spend time outside, connecting to nature no matter the weather. Sunlight, even through clouds, it beneficial to our mental and physical health, not just our spiritual well-being.
Embrace the Dark

When so much of our days are spent in the dark, we have to find ways to thrive no matter the light. A component of the spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice is your inner light.

As well as using candles, fires and lamps to light your space, take a moment to notice the light you spread yourself. Is it bright, or dim? Winter Solstice is the perfect time to practice brightening your own inner light, and to share it with others, to brighten their darkness in turn.

Embracing the darkness can also be applied literally. We spend most of our time avoiding the darkness and flooding ourselves with artificial light. As the spiritual meaning of Winter Solstice includes darkness, you could take these few days as an opportunity to get comfortable without light.

This could be turning off the lights and close the curtains. In total darkness, you can use your own senses to connect with the world around you, just as you would when meditating. You could also stay away from screens and anything which creates artificial light, allowing yourself to be governed by the sun and moon all day instead.

Winter Solstice is a very spiritual time. With a few rituals or moments of reflection, you too could start a transition from darkness to light. You can learn to tune into your own interpretation of inner light and inner darkness. During the Winter Solstice, focus on controlling and embracing what both have to offer.

The Four Noble Truths in Buddhism and What They Can Teach You

By Valerie Soleil.

learning-mind.com.

Posted December 20th, 2019.

The Four Noble Truths can be traced back to the teaching of Buddha, in fact, it is the main principle of Buddhism. Buddha was the first one to realize these truths and from there he spread the word to his followers. To understand Buddhism is to understand these truths.

Studying the Four Noble truths brings a level of knowledge that not many people can grasp. It takes patience and hard work to truly know these guidelines. It is essential we do not simply read these truths; we need to understand and live them in our everyday lives.

The Four Noble Truths

First Noble Truth

The First Noble Truth is dukkha orsuffering. However, it is not exactly easy to sum up. Dukkha can mean different things to different people. There isn’t an exact translation in the English language, which makes it difficult to pinpoint.

Many people have different ideas on what dukkha means. Most can agree that it incorporates feelings of stress, pain, loss, anxiety, dissatisfaction, and unhappiness. Since the term is so broad, it is important to fully understand this first noble truth in order to address it in your own personal life.

Essentially, dukkha is those lingering feelings of unhappiness, whether it be from stress, grief or other. Every single in the person in the world is affected by this sensation at one time or another.

Dukkha is a part of life and unfortunately, there is no way around it. The four noble truths aren’t about eliminating dukkha all together, but rather learning to manage it so you minimize your suffering.

When the Buddha introduced this truth, he did not want his followers to simply read it and move on, he wanted them to really sit and contemplate the existence of dukkha.

  • Why does it exist?
  • What purpose does it serve?
  • Is there meaning to it?

Most people don’t like to question this because they think that contemplating suffering will make them unhappy. But this is quite the opposite actually. The suffering will usually pass; however, it can be an opportunity to truly know yourself in times of grief which ultimately will give you a better understanding of the self.

There are many ways to experience dukkha. The obvious ways are through grief, anger, sadness or pain. It’s not until we really start to examine ourselves that we realize dukkha comes in many subtle forms; illness, envy, ageing, and small heartbreaks.

Many suffer from a sense of longing, perhaps for a better lover, body, or more money. This has just as much effect on us over time. It’s just not as obvious to our minds since our lives are filled with constant distractions. All of which are usually tied in with the source of suffering in the first place.

Second Noble Truth
The Second Noble Truth is the truth of the cause of dukkha or suffering. Suffering doesn’t just appear out of thin air, there are causes and conditions for every action. It is important to have a good understanding of the Buddhist principle of Karma in order to go further. If you are not familiar with the belief, please study these laws before reading any further.

The Buddha teaches that there are Three Poisons of the mind that we need to bring attention too. This will help you fully understand the Second Noble Truth.

The Three Poisons are:

  • Confusion
  • Cravings
  • Aversions

Any source of dukkha is manifested through one of these. We either live in the past by trying to hold on to a pleasant experience. Or we live in the future by idealizing a situation that hasn’t happened yet. Or we become deluded and detached from our current reality over an unpleasant situation.

We all crave something; it is human nature. We want to fit in, we want to be successful, we want a great love. While this is almost impossible to avoid, it is important to examine these thoughts as they pass by so that we don’t attach feelings of happiness to them.

When we desire something, we build up a fantasy situation in our head and when that situation doesn’t happen, we feel a strong sense of unhappiness and loss for something that never existed in the first place. This can cause so much suffering when left unchecked and most of the time people don’t even realize they are doing this.

Another cause of dukkha is the inability to comprehend these thought patterns. We know we feel sadness and stress but are not able to explain where it came from. Perhaps you are simply trying to have a positive outlook on life so you dream of better things to come. But in reality, that can sometimes hinder your mental health when your realities don’t line up with the thoughts in your head.

Third Noble Truth
Now before we start feeling down about our inevitable thought patterns, there is hope! The third Noble Truth teaches us the solution to dukkha or at least gives us hope for a cure. This Truth teaches us the cessation of suffering or dukkha.

Essentially, the solution to dukkha is to stop clinging to ideas and false realities. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, not exactly. One cannot simply will themselves to stop longing, it is impossible and will not work. You need to be able to fully let these feelings pass while being aware that they are happening and examine the source of them.

It’s important to understand that these cravings do not satisfy us, but rather they just lead to disappointment. If you can fully understand this, the sense of longing should be able to pass any importance.

The Third Noble Truth is an easy one to miss, indulging in fantasies (good or bad) comes as second nature to most and the point isn’t to eliminate these thoughts. These thoughts can be beneficial and are important for living a good life. If no one cared or looked to the future, it would be very hard to find the motivation to work toward life goals.

The point of the Third Truth is to recognize where these cravings come from. To really understand where the thoughts come from and not place feelings of happiness or unhappiness on those thoughts. They should be able to flow through your mind like water. This is the key to reaching enlightenment, becoming the master of your own mind. Situations are inevitable, it’s how you react to them that matters.
Fourth Noble Truth
The last and final Noble Truth is breaking the cycle of dukkha. If you can do this, you can truly reach Nirvana. Of course, this is much easier said than done. It takes entire lifetimes to fully understand and live these truths. It is a matter of living each moment in a state of mindfulness. You must commit to this path and walk it for your entire life, it must come as second nature.

The Fourth Noble Truth is the understanding that our thoughts shape our reality. You must be able to clear your mind, de-attach any feelings to thoughts, and walk the path of enlightenment. It will be very difficult at first and might not be achievable in this lifetime.

Essentially, you are re-training your mind and entire thought process. Not an easy thing to do. But eventually, it will become easier by developing a strong mind, solid virtues and gaining new wisdom as often as possible.
Final Thoughts

These ancient teachings are still very relevant today. We all have the power within us to walk this path and achieve enlightenment with a lot of hard work and discipline.

What Is Soul Travel? 4 Safe Methods and Techniques to Induce This State

By Valerie Soleil.

learning-mind.com.

Posted November 28th, 2019.

What wouldn’t you give to travel without limits on any plane of existence? To feel your Soul become one with the universe? To be a shining beacon of Light? Soul travel requires only focus, high vibration frequencies and intentionality. With the right tools and techniques, you can live in a world with no borders and no limits.

What Is Soul Travel?

Let’s start with what it’s not. Soul Travel is often confused with Astral Projection, but the two are in fact very different. Astral Projection revolves around our Subtle Body, also called Astral Body or Energy Body. This is the vibrational refined refraction of our physical body, which connects the mind and the spirit.

In Astral Projection, the Subtle Body leaves the physical body and travels through the Astral Plane. However, you remain consciously and detachedly aware of your physical body. This can be achieved through lucid dreaming, mediation or even accidentally.

In Soul Travel, you travel with your Light Body. This body is more extensive than the Astral Body. It shines through it to encompass the Astral Body. As such, it is reached by attaining and maintaining a state of complete, unconditional Love.

By raising our vibrations through this state of Love, the Light Body reaches its highest refraction, the Rainbow Body. Now we find ourselves on the same frequency as the Source, the Universe, the Cosmos, the Creation. When we are open to Love, we can be anything and go anywhere.

In Soul Travel, we are not aware of our physical bodies, having reached the highest vibrations of ourselves. Being on the same frequency as the Source connects us with everything in the Universe, beyond time and place.

On this frequency, we are in all worlds and dimensions at once, so we don’t actually travel anywhere. We are already there and everywhere. As such, there is no need to be afraid of getting lost as we do not physically leave our bodies.

Some people do report a whooshing sound or a feeling of high speed when they Soul Travel. This is most likely the sensation resulting from two things:
  • Our Soul negotiating fixed states and conditions
  • Time and space adjusting to the Soul’s state of consciousness
  • Why It Is Important

The vital element of Soul Travel is understanding that, on this level, we work to uplift humanity. By fusing with the Source, we are empowered to take more responsibility for ourselves at all levels. Likewise, to use our natural gifts and abilities to raise the Earth’s vibration. We will often be guided via suggestion or intuition to where we need to be.

When Soul Travelling consciously or through meditation, we know we are where we need to be. In light of this, ask yourself and the Universe the following question when you arrive: Is there anything I need to heal, complete, receive or resolve here? Lean into Love, and you’ll know the answers.

How Can I Soul Travel?

The crucial element of Soul Travel is to know where you want to go. As you merge with the Source’s vibration frequency, focus on your destination to manifest it around you.

But how do you merge with the Source’s vibration frequency? As previously discussed, this is a path of Love. Only by embodying complete, unconditional Love on all levels can we raise our vibrations enough to become One.

There are a variety of techniques to achieve Soul Travel, each suited to different individuals and different personalities. Play around and experiment with them. Get creative with how you apply them to yourself. Most importantly, remain comfortable and avoid tension and struggle in your journey to Soul Travel.

Most techniques are based on visualisations and meditations. This is because intentionality and purpose are vital to Soul Travel. The aim is to fill yourself with such Love that it cannot be contained in your physical body.

4 Safe Methods and Techniques to Induce Soul Travel

Guiding Light

The Guiding Light is one such visualisation. Imagine yourself vibrating with so much Love, at such a high frequency, that you generate a warm, golden light, emanating from your Crown Chakra.

Visualise it passing down through your Chakras to your Root Chakra, activating and lighting them each in turn. Bring it back up through your Chakras. This time sparking such Love that they each start vibrating, then spinning.

As they continue spinning, the Love grows, and their Light shines further and further out until they become one Chakra of Light. Unconditional love continues to fuel this Light Chakra. As a result, it grows outwards, through all your bodies, towards the Source, which is everywhere. The culmination of its journey is your ecstasy.

Two Pyramids

Another visualisation method is the Two Pyramids. See yourself sitting inside a glowing, white pyramid. The base is resting on your hips and the tip projecting upwards. Add another pyramid, with the base at your heart and the tip pointing down into the Earth. Maintain this visualisation for a few normal breaths. When the sensation is stable and tangible, exhale powerfully from your stomach.

Then visualise a golden orb growing to encircle both pyramids. Exhale into this field around you, and maintain it steadily with all your senses. When you can sense all three elements without strain, set them spinning clockwise, first the pyramids, then the orb. Breathe with the physical sensations and the increasing frequency. Guide this Love to all the internal spaces that need healing and affirmation, and to others in your life.

Spiritual Eye

A more focused visualisation involves the Spiritual Eye. Close your eyes and focus your intention on your Third Eye, between your eyebrows. Whether through vocalisation, breathwork or meditation, let Love fill your mind, body and heart.

Now visualise your spiritual Guide in your Third Eye. Vocalise the following intention: I give you permission to take me to the best place for my spiritual good.

Use the same technique as you used to channel Love to visualise yourself somewhere familiar. Practice regularly and frequently. Consequently, you’ll find yourself in your mental picture, or somewhere else entirely!

Daily Practice

It’s a good idea to practice specific mental exercises throughout the day. As a result, you’ll build up an awareness of the different planes and of your movement through them.

One good practice is to regularly ask yourself if you are dreaming and check for indications of reality. Eventually, you’ll ask yourself this question in dreams as well. In fact, the minute you become aware that you are dreaming you enter a lucid dream state. This is a feature of the Astral Body and a stepping stone to the Light Body.

Another way to practice moving through planes is to regularly visualise a scene from your past. However, change some detail of the movement. If the wind was blowing, make the weather still. If people were sitting, make them run.

Final Thoughts

Keep practising, in tandem with meditations, visualisations and remembering to keep your vibrations high. With any luck, you’ll eventually find yourself somewhere else!

What Is Perennial Philosophy and How It Can Open Your Mind

Alexander Nyland

https://www.learning-mind.com/

November 27th, 2019.

Perennial philosophy is a strand of philosophical thought prevalent in culture since the Renaissance. It became popularised in the 20th century where these ideas became widespread across academia and society.

Perennial philosophy is a viewpoint that provides an interesting outlook on the practice of many religious faiths. It is a source of valuable insight for some, whether this is understanding or grappling with the varying religious teachings that inhabit our communities.

However, before we explore how this philosophy can influence our attitude towards these matters, we must first be clear on what exactly Perennial Philosophy is. Once we have done this, we will be able to examine what the criticisms of this theory may look like. Only then can we see how it may broaden our perspective on Religion and belief systems in society for the better.

What is Perennial Philosophy?

You might think that the phrase Perennial Philosophy is complex. However, it is relatively simple to understand. Perennial Philosophy is an idea that recognises all of the world’s religious, spiritual and wisdom traditions as sharing one singular universal truth and ideal.

All of these traditions are, in the end, premised upon this same foundational truth. They are all trying to make sense of the same thing.

These ideas started to emerge in the Renaissance. However, they became widespread in the 20th century by the English writer and philosopher Aldous Huxley. Renaissance thinkers began the groundwork for these ideas after drawing upon Plato’s theory of forms. These minds used this Platonic theory to develop certain ideas:
  • There is an inherent, latent unity in the world.
  • This unity is found in many established practices.
  • It is not limited, nor is it unique to just one such tradition.

These Renaissance beliefs fully came to the fore in the 20th century through Aldous Huxley. Here the ideas became more developed, advanced and widespread within society. Huxley popularised the theory. In fact, he explains it in his book The Perennial Philosophy (1945):

“…the metaphysic that recognises a divine Reality substantial to the world of things and lives and minds; the psychology that finds in the soul something similar to, or even identical to, divine reality; the ethic that places man’s final end in the knowledge of the immanent and transcendent ground of all being; the thing is immemorial and universal” Aldous Huxley.

But what do Huxley’s words mean? Huxley goes into more depth about the subject in his book. He posits that all religious traditions centre towards one same ‘divine reality‘. It is how we understand it and our place within it that is important.

It is true that religions and spiritual traditions can contrast greatly in their teachings and form. Yet, they are all attempting to decipher the purpose of human life. They are providing guidance for the same thing – the search for meaning in life.

Criticisms of Perennial Philosophy

It is now worth taking a look at the criticisms of these ideas. Then we can examine how these ideas can open our minds and influence our perspective on these matters.

Religions are in conflict with each other

There are some criticisms of Perennial Philosophy that claim that it is an unrealistic and unworkable theory. A primary concern is an argument that many world religions are in conflict and have been throughout history. How can religions share a universal truth if they are so at odds with each other?

Religious beliefs vary so much

Furthermore, many religions differ so greatly in their ethics, beliefs, principles and teachings. As a result, it may become increasingly difficult to see how they can all share one ‘divine’, universal and shared ideal. Therefore, Perennial Philosophy runs the risk of not receiving merit. Particularly if they are not consistent with each other in these teachings.

But do these differences and dissimilarities matter? It is surely inevitable that such practices will have glaring differences and distinctions. Consider the very varied cultures that they were born from? The historical factors that they play into their belief system? Not to mention the different spiritual teachings that they espouse to their followers.

These criticisms and the issues they expose indeed hold the potential to threaten the dismantling of this theory. However, it does not mean that we should write it off altogether.

Perhaps the universal truth shared by all religions still prevails even in the face of these conflicts and contrasting philosophies. It’s certainly possible that each belief system is premised on this singular reality. It could be that they just express it in varying ways or point towards it in a different manner.

Nevertheless, regardless of whether you are fully convinced by it or not, Perennial Philosophy does have some useful ideas. These ideas can not only broaden our perspective but can also be hugely beneficial to us in these perspectives.

How Perennial Philosophy can open our minds

This is the singular idea that all religions are based on the same universal truth. Moreover, they have all grown from this same truth. This is something that we can all use positively.

Religious Beliefs

Religion is an entity that provides moral and spiritual guidance to its followers to help them live their lives. They are essentially providing purpose to people’s lives or at least trying to navigate us towards some sort of purpose.

Perennial Philosophy helps to push past conflicting beliefs and the disharmony of separate religious doctrines. Consequently, it exposes a fundamental yearning that we all innately share – the search for meaning and purpose.

We Are All the Same

This allows us to perceive the world’s religions beyond warring factions pitted against each other as separate institutions. It edifies our minds to push past the boundaries that can separate us.

In effect, it provides some sort of reassurance that we are all fundamentally the same. We are all beings trying to answer the questions of our existence. Even though we may be taking different paths to find these answers.

Spiritual Paths

You can push the theory of Perennial Philosophy beyond Religion. Some of us may not choose to follow Religion. It may not be the source we look to for fulfilment. You may be an atheist and turn to other means of guidance.

There perhaps are multitudes of sources and doctrines that one may draw from. All in an attempt to garner the purpose that we all seek. A universal truth of being, purpose and meaning is surely something that can bind us all together.

It can be comforting to know, whatever we follow, we are all, perhaps unknowingly, all searching for the same thing. We all experience times of loneliness, unhappiness and confusion in our lives. This philosophy is an antidote for such states. The idea that essentially, we are all beings struggling to find the answers to the same questions.

Final Thoughts

Perennial Philosophy can open our minds to our shared existence and the commonalities that we have within it. It helps us to form a more optimistic vision of the world. And this may prove critical and liberating during hard times.

Align with Your Soul’s Divine Blueprint

A Message from Archangel Gabriel for 11:11 to 12:12

Through Shanta Gabriel.

Posted November 15th, 2019

Dear Ones,
The Activations from the 11:11 portal are creating a deeper alignment with your Soul’s Divine Blueprint. Energy upgrades are taking place that allow you to build a new structure for your energy system to be housed within. These downloads will continue until the powerful 12:12 transmissions.
Your new aligned Light Body has been prepared diligently over the past few years so you could receive the new codes of ascension more freely. As expected, the physical bodies have been the areas most at odds with the new energy. Symptoms have been rampant that displayed the dismantling of the old structures held within you for so long. This has been very uncomfortable, yet highly purposeful. Maintaining a positive outlook as your body reorganized down to the cellular level has been difficult for most people.

This is especially true when looking outside yourselves to see the world dismantling in a similar way.

The good news is that you have come to a turning point. The place where those at the forefront of the ascension wave are beginning the process of rebuilding the physical structure required for a new life within the higher frequencies of Light that make up the 5th Dimension.
In this new time, your energy systems have begun to enjoy the upleveling energies inherent within the process that are quite exalted. Even though your nervous system may still feel as though it has blown its circuits at times, there is an expansive gain in your heart’s understanding of the massive shift taking place within you.

Providing space for the restructuring  process will now take the place of the continuous dismantling
that has occurred since 2012, and for some of the Wayshowers well beyond.

Dwelling in the shadows has been a fruitful existence. It has enabled most of those who have been finding their way through the morass of overflowing past history to absolve themselves of blame and open the doors of their perception to look outside the inner turmoil. The sashes have been thrown open from the windows of the mind and light is pouring into all the dark corners. You are able to freely access those situations that have caused so much of the tumultuous learning processes necessary for your Soul’s education.
Now is the time for more Divine Insight to take root within your knowing. Whether it is clear or not, all of your past experiences have had a bigger purpose than what has been obvious. You have been provided with the actions necessary to clear your Akashic records down to the bare foundations  the bedrock of your life known as the zero point. From here, it only goes up as you begin the rebuilding process of your physical structure to hold the higher frequencies.
You are the empty vessel that has been prepared to hold the Light of Divinity as a sacred chalice within. Remember this as you create the next steps in your life. Take your time to access the inner knowing as you live your physical existence. What you put into your sacred vessel includes your attitudes and outlook on life as you begin to build your physical structure from the inside out.
Preparing yourself to be a sacred chalice to hold Divine Light affects you on all levels. You will need to be serious about taking yourself lightly!
Make sure you provide yourself with plenty of time in sunshine and in Nature. You are being fed like the new leaves on a tree with the Light of photosynthesis. A process is afoot that will enable you to hold this energy as food, just as a tree with its roots in the Earth and its canopy in the Light. You are building the forces that will allow you to thrive in the midst of change and inevitable challenge.
Never doubt the presence of your Spiritual Resources that are working with you to insure you are guided in every moment. You are loved eternally as all you need is provided with Grace and Ease. All is truly well. And so it is.

What Are Soul Contracts and What Do They Mean for Our Life Purpose?

Chiara Torelli.

learning-mind.com

on November 5th, 2019.

life contracts meaning.

In many belief systems, we are not human beings having spiritual experiences, but rather spiritual beings having human experiences. Before beginning our human lives, our souls created arrangements with other spiritual beings. This is to help us reach higher cognisance on the earthly plane. These are called Soul Contracts, or Soul Arrangements.

What Are Soul Contracts?

As we journey on in our life paths, particular people and relationships impact us more deeply than others. There are people we connect with on an impossibly deep level. The relationships that show us new sides of ourselves. Certain people challenge us to adapt to unique circumstances. As well as relationships that force us to re-evaluate our behaviours.

These people and relationships profoundly transform us. They raise our awareness and consciousness, bringing us closer to Unconditional Love and Light. They are the people, the souls, which we chose to enter into a relationship with before we were even born. These are the souls we opened a Soul Contract with.

The Purpose of Soul Contracts

The purpose of Soul Contracts is to help us achieve our Destiny. Our destiny is to experience the Unconditional Love of the Universe. Therefore, through our contracts, we are pre-destined to meet certain people. We engage in individual connections, whether they be family, friends, colleagues or lovers.

Each relationship functions as a lesson. As a result, we are moving closer to Love and Light. Actually, every one of them was chosen by our soul in a pre-incarnation agreement.

Although this may be true, predestination doesn’t prohibit free will. In fact, the power to choose is an essential condition of the human experience. We always have the option of whether or not to engage with these lessons.

However, will we notice relationships that unfold in the same way or failing to elevate us? Do we try to see the lessons in them and move forward? Or do we choose to repeat the same cycles endlessly?
Who do we enter into soul contracts with?

Soulmates, or twin flames, are a crucial part of the Soul Contract system. They usually exist in the context of romantic or sexual love.

Consequently, this relationship exceeds most others in terms of intimacy and depth of connection. These are often the most challenging and powerful contracts we make with other souls. This is due to the intense exchange of energies that takes place.

Whether Soulmate relationships are short- or long-term, we gain something from them. As a result, we can reach a higher level of sentience. In addition, we evolve with new perspectives on ourselves and the world.

The Soul Contracts we make outside of romantic or sexual relationships are no less significant or essential. In fact, these are often the longest lasting and most impactful contracts we open. Usually, you have a Soul Contract with your close family members and intense or long-term friends.

The Function of a Soul Contract

Their function is to challenge our preconceptions. To make us work through hardships and trials within the perspective of Love. When we fail to see the purpose of the relationship and don’t work from Love, we will repeat negative associations until the lessons become clear to us.

If we have a negative relationship with a family member or were hurt by a close friend, it can be challenging to accept that our soul entered into a contract with them. Especially if relationships have been abusive or extreme. But our soul’s purpose is always to further our spiritual growth.

You will have gained something in the process of the relationship. Hopefully, an understanding of your strength and perseverance. Not to mention, your worth and value. But also your triggers and reactions, of your cyclical behaviours and thought patterns.

This will prevent you from entering into similar relationships again. As such, it will leave you strengthened. In the long term, you will be ready for positive associations that will elevate you.

The Soul Family

Often we have a Soul Family, a group of souls which we repeatedly re-incarnate with and enter into contracts with. These might be the people you feel you’ve known forever even though you’ve only met them once. They can be family members you feel especially close to or friends that fit like a glove.

Know that each of you is working for the betterment of the others. So you are all helping each other reach a higher level of consciousness and experience the Unconditional Love of the Universe.

Soul Contracts can bring healing, Enlightenment and Unconditional Love if we are willing to listen and learn. Still, it’s essential to have compassion for ourselves in those times that we weren’t in the space to receive the lessons. We are there now, and our Soul knows what we need.

How does all this impact my relationships?

Soul Contracts are entered into in the hope of connecting you with the Divine. This means every relationship has the potential to literally be life-changing. That’s if we can experience it within the perspective of Love.

What does this mean for those relationships? Every Soul Contract, even the ones which seem negative or harmful on the surface, is an opportunity to learn. We see how we better engage with ourselves and others.

Every relationship, therefore, becomes meaningful. Each and every one of them has the potential to be a transformative learning experience.

Final Thoughts

Enter into existing or new relationships with this knowledge in mind. Understand that everything about that relationship is really working for your spiritual betterment. If you can identify how you are one step closer to Enlightenment.

Naikan Reflection: How This Japanese Technique Transforms Your Relationships ~ Francesca F.

Naikan Reflection:

How This Japanese Technique Transforms Your Relationships.

By Francesca F.

July 12th, 2019

Naikan Reflection helps us to better understand ourselves and others in our various relationships.
Relationships are complicated, and it is always easier to focus on the bad parts than the good. Naikan Reflection is a form of genuine self-reflection which aims to help us understand our relationships better.

By understanding the bigger picture, we can see the nuances of a relationship. Most significantly, you may find yourself recognizing cycles of negative behavior, or having a greater respect for what others do for you.

What Is Naikan Reflection?

Naikan Reflection is a structured method of self-reflection which helps us to get a more realistic sense of our relationships with others. It was developed by Japanese businessman and devoted Jodo Shinshu Buddhist, Yoshimoto Ishin.

Those who practice it claim that it helps them to understand themselves and others with who they have relationships.
The Three Questions of Naikan Reflection

Naikan Reflection is based on three key questionswhich help us to reflect on our relationships with others, from friends to family, co-workers to acquaintances.
  1. What have I received from…?
  2. What have I given to…?
  3. What troubles and difficulties have I caused…?
There is a logical fourth question in this series which is ‘What troubles and difficulties have… caused me?’ This question was purposefully ignored because of the belief that this question is responsible for too much misery in daily life.
One of the most important aspects of Naikan Reflection is that it assumes we are all naturally good at seeing an answer to this fourth question. In contrast, true knowledge comes from a little introspection.

Three Different Methods to Practice Naikan Reflection

The general method of practicing Naikan Reflection is to answer these questions in detail.
  • Examine first what you have received from others.
There are times we receive things from others without understanding the sacrifices they made or the thought they gave it. Take the time to understand this and to whom you should be grateful.
  • Next, consider what you have given to others.
We are all susceptible to self-criticism. Taking the time to understand how you are capable of helping others can change our perception of ourselves.
As a result, this is a valuable tool because it helps to boost self-esteem and change our mindset. When we see the good in what we have done without making a conscious effort, we can see the good we are capable of in the future.
  • The final question is not the easiest to answer.
We never like to point fingers at ourselves; doing so can be difficult. Yet, we must understand the hardships we have caused others to truly be introspective. When we see what difficulties we have caused others, we can begin to understand and even repair those relationships.
There are three main ways Naikan Reflection can be practiced, so you can find the right method for you.

Daily Naikan (Nichijo Naikan)

Daily Naikan Reflection takes only 20 to 30 minutes before falling asleep. Sit in a quiet place and minimize distractions. Consider the three questions of Naikan and answer them in relation to the events of the day.
Try to be as specific as you can rather than generalize about ‘receiving food’ or ‘gave assistance.’ It may seem trivial, but it is important to recognize what you should be grateful for and what you offer others.
This method is the simplest. It also keeps the self-reflection we do present in our daily lives.

Naikan Reflection on a Person

Naikan Reflection can be done in reference to a specific person. This method takes a little longer because it focuses on the entire relationship, beginning to end. Start with how you met, and slowly work your way through the ups and downs of the relationship chronologically.
Naikan Reflection on a person gives us greater insight and respect for a particular person. You may focus on a few weeks, or a few years, giving yourself a detailed account of hard times with the gift of hindsight.
You will be able to see how the relationship has strengthened or may be weakened. However, you will be able to see the situation as a whole.

A Naikan Retreat (Schuchu Naikan)

Naikan Retreats can be a scheduled event, or it can be something you venture to do alone. Taking yourself away for a set amount of time to a quiet and secluded place can be mind-opening.
Venture to a peaceful and private spot and give yourself nothing to do but reflect. View your life chronologically and assess all of your relationships in turn.
This is the most intense version of self-reflection and it can take some time to work up to this. However, those who take part in such retreats have profound and life-changing experiences. What is important is that you are sincere and committed to the experience.

Why self-reflection is important

Self-reflection is deeply entrenched in many of the world’s spiritual cultures. There are many different methods of self-reflection which can help open your mind to all that life is.
Naikan Reflection is simply one of many of these methods, but it helps us to form closer bonds through the understanding of our relationships.
Most importantly, practicing this reflection helps us to recognize the importance of others and the positive impact we can have in the lives of others.

How to Perform Third Eye Meditation to Activate Your Pineal Gland ~ Sherrie.

How to Perform Third Eye Meditation to Activate Your Pineal Gland.

By Sherrie.

June 26th, 2019

Third eye meditation is a practice that continually allows us to sense energies in our surroundings. Learn how to perform this meditation.
The third eye, or in biological terms, the pineal gland, is considered the secret center of our senses. This means our intuition and being able to sense certain energies, good or bad can be accessed through this chakra. The type of meditation called ‘trataka’ opens up the third eye and helps us develop and grow a greater understanding of our basic senses…but more.

Learning how to awaken your third eye with meditation

If this is new to you, then that’s okay too. Learning third eye chakra meditation can be simple. All it really takes is calming the mind and focus, plus a few more minor steps. Centering on the middle eye and opening up to energies can be a great way to improve discernment in various situations.

So, here are the basic instructions on the process of meditation that will awaken your third eye:

1. Location

The first thing you have to do is to choose your location for meditation. This place must be a calming location, with few to no disturbances. Going outside is a great idea as long as sudden noises will not break your serenity. This varies from person to person, however, as some constant noises can turn into a permanent hum, which translates into silence for them.
You have to play around with a few places until you’ve found the right location for the process.

2. Time

Try to meditate at around the same time every day. This helps you build even more consistency in your life. As life can be so random and dramatic at times, a pattern of prayer and meditation can help center your life.
It’s best to choose a time that’s early so you can frame your day with a positive meditative outlook. It’s also best not to meditate right before or right after a meal.

3. Positions

Most people sit with legs crossed and that works for them. However, the most important factor in your sitting position is a comfort. You must find the most comfortable position before meditation begins.
Preferably, this position should not be one that causes you to fall asleep. Keep that in mind. Pineal gland meditation is deeper than the waking mind but elevated above sleep. Keep your back straight, chest out, and head upright.

4. Breathing

As you start to enter a state of meditation, regulate your breathing. Part of this process can be done before finding clarity, while the other part will have to be completed as you find a calming state of being in the next step. For those with anxiety, much of the breathing regulation will come with greater and greater focus.
Start with deep breaths which will help slow the heart rate and level of breathing. You can think calming thoughts or imagine pleasant surfaces rubbing against your skin. Hey, you can even count backward to regulate breathing as well.

5. Find clarity

Although it’s difficult to truly clear your mind, focusing on your third eye during meditation requires the purest form of clarity to transport you to the higher plane. Finding clarity can also incorporate focus in its rawest form.
As you begin your meditation, clear the cluttered thoughts as you focus on the center of your forehead, the pineal gland. As you focus, the clutter will transform into gentle energies. Your focus not only helps you sense energies but also keeps you grounded and aware.

6. Reaching the third eye

As you practice the above, you will start to touch the edge of energies projected by the third eye. Things will at first seem dark, but don’t panic. Amidst the darkness, there will be a pinpoint of light and this is the third eye chakra.
If the third eye is already activated, the brain will be functioning normally. You will also be able to sense the reality of the third eye when your natural energies prove greater. Your focus will be so strong you can completely envelop yourself in one thought, one object, or one person.

7. Just experience

After you’ve calmed down a bit from the initial presence of the third eye chakra, you can experience the fullness of it. People usually experience different things when in the presence of such energies. Some see objects flashing through their minds, while others can see the words they think.
Learning to understand these visions will take time. For beginners, this experience can seem overwhelming, even causing headaches, but over time, it gets easier.

8. Staying focused

The key to getting centered with third eye meditation is learning to stay within the presence of the third eye chakra for as long as you can. Your goal would be 10-15 minutes. The longer you stay, the easier it is for you to learn how to understand energies and visual experiences. All these things also help you focus in day-to-day life as well.

9. Coming out of meditation state

To awake from meditation, you must first turn your inner eyes away from your pineal gland – the light in the darkness. As you move away, continue to regulate your breathing. Slowly open your eyes and become aware of your surroundings and your body. Over time, this process will become easier.

Finding comfort in meditation

Meditation has the ability to bring great comfort, especially in trying times. But even if everything seems perfect, third eye mediation is an important practice for your life.
After you’ve learned the correct way to meditate in this manner, continue to practice for easier entry and exit from meditation. If you haven’t encountered your third eye yet, now’s the time to become acquainted. Just give it a try.

The Spirituality of Being Vegan – A Personal Sharing ~ Anastasia

The Spirituality of Being Vegan.

By Anastasia.

Guest Writer for Wake Up World.

Originally published at kindearth.net and reproduced here with permission

Spirituality to me is a celebration of my love for sentient life. It’s an honouring of the interconnectivity of all things. More than that – it’s feeling the interconnectivity at the core of my being. It’s compassion. It’s love. It’s non-judgment. It’s a mystical, intangible life force that always inspires me to make the most loving and compassionate choice available. Spirituality ignites my soul, allowing me to dance, open my heart, free my mind and serve my life’s purpose.

My heart guides constantly guides me to take the most loving and compassionate path in life, which also means that I embrace a vegan lifestyle (and have done so for over 24 years).

All For One And One For All

Not only is eating a plant-based diet good for the planet, our fellow animals, it also raises my vibration positively, so that I, in turn, can infuse a little bit more of the divine back into the world around me. It creates an awesome feedback loop, important for my spiritual evolution.
What is good for other sentient life, is good for me. Making compassionate choices works somewhat like a key to unlock a higher paradigm of unconditional love within me. It is a key on my journey back to whole and complete spiritual beingness.

A Profound Spiritual Awakening

In 1995 I had a profound, earth-shattering, spiritual awakening that changed my life forever.
I don’t know why it happened to me – perhaps just because my ‘time had come’. I’d been tormented by the relentless yearning to find meaning in a cruel world. As a very sensitive person witnessing and feeling the degradation of our planet and fellow sentient beings, I felt an intolerable pain; a primal scream. I wanted to die. I’d reached the bottom of the well of grief and it was barren, dry and empty. My world finally caved in. I wanted to give every cell of my being back to the universe. Everything I’d ever loved, dreamed of, hoped for ‘take it back – take me back – I want out’.
I finally gave up the fight and surrendered every cell of my being into the divine. I collapsed, unable to feel anything anymore. And then it happened!
Something extraordinary and unexpected took place…
A white light flooded my entire being, dissolving everything around me, consuming me entirely, radiating the whole field around me, until their was only white light. The universe disappeared. There was no me or you. No up or down. No this or that. The veil had fallen away and all that was left was one pulsating white light of pure unity consciousness. It formed everything, lacked nothing, whilst exuding a paradoxical formlessness. I was that, that was me and so was everything else! I experienced the soul of all other sentient beings, trees, creatures, people, all forms of life, all connected as one pulsating energy. All judgement fell away. Beyond words.
After an experience like that, everything changes! Everything was different. There were no boundaries; just an interconnectedness of all things. No concepts, no intellectual interpretation. I realised my place in the sacred flow of life. We’re all one, all connected.
Immediately after my spiritual awakening, I made instant changes to my lifestyle (including adopting a vegan diet). It became clear to me that a compassionate, plant-based way of eating was not only best for my fellow sentient beings and for Mother Earth, but also for my personal spiritual evolution.

Interconnectivity

Spiritually, we know that all are connected. We sense it, through every cell of our being. We can feel it in the depths of our hearts. It’s a whisper, inviting us to unfold into the fullness of our being, calling us ‘home’. There is a thread that joins us all together… plants, people, animals, and all sentient life. When we tug at that thread, we find that everything is connected.
What we do to another, we ultimately do to ourselves. At our deepest levels there is a yearning to become whole again and to honour all other sentient beings.

The Awakening Soul

Once our soul begins to awaken, we know in our hearts that all beings are worthy of love and compassion.
True love awaits within each of us, often dormant until stirred, like a hibernating seed, unaware, yet ever yearning for the moment to be set free.

Everything Is Energy

“A human being is a part of the whole, called by us “Universe,”
a part limited in time and space.
He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings
as something separated from the rest,
a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us,
restricting us to our personal desires and
to affection for a few persons nearest to us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison
by widening our circle of compassion to embrace
all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955)
Spiritually we understand that everything is made of energy.  In fact these days, even science confirms it. Everything consists of a particular vibration. Without vibrational energy, nothing would exist at all. Nothing escapes us. The choices we make in life alter our vibration accordingly, creating karma that either binds us to the density or sets us free.

You Are What You Eat

What we eat infuses into the cells of our body, which then affects our energetic vibration (physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually).
Eating plant-based food that has been grown naturally with care, nourishes our mind, body and spirit, raising our vibration. For a plethora of delicious plant-based recipes (created from a space of love) please go to my page here: Plant-based Recipes at Kind Earth
However, if we ingest animals (or their products) that have been in a state of pain or suffering in any way, we invite that vibration of turmoil into ourselves. That suffering literally becomes a part of us.

We’ve Lost Our Tribe!

So we know everything is connected…. yet, we’ve become indoctrinated (since the earliest of times) to believe that we are separate from one another. We’ve become fragmented and torn. Broken and disconnected. We’ve lost our tribe!
The illusion of separation has its grip so tightly on the ego that it fights vehemently for its own survival. The ego doesn’t want us to embrace our deepest compassion; for true compassion is about oneness and interconnectivity. True compassion means the death of the ego. Humanity has become destructive, causing great devastation and suffering for sentient life. The violence that is committed towards animals, has however, mostly been sanitised – carried out behind closed doors, protecting us from the blood-shed and horror.
How easy it is to deny responsibility when we don’t have blood on our own hands. Most of us stand behind a veil, believing that we are compassionate and loving beings, because we don’t inflict the torture ourselves. Or do we? We make that choice, consuming flesh and produce from our our fellow sentient beings, calling it food, distanced from the fact, that we are indeed responsible for the brutal deaths of billions of our friends every year. We know this in our hearts. Yet how many of us choose to ignore it?

Be Completely Honest With Yourself And Then Find Peace Within

Whether we consume animals and their by-products isn’t the issue. I am not telling anyone what they should or shouldn’t do. The issue is whether we’ve truly explored it. Whether we’ve really looked at what is going on. Whether we’ve truly owned our choices.
Watch a movie like Earthlings. Join the dots and be completely honest about how you feel. The important thing is that you make your choices from the heart. Don’t stay anaesthetised to what is really going on – make a conscious choice from your heart. True love is honest, transparent and takes full ownership of responsibility. If you can honestly feel the fear and embrace the suffering that your fellow creatures feel, with every fibre of your being… and still eat them (or their by-products), then you’ve made your choice. Be at peace with it.

The Spiritual Gift of Eating Compassionately

For me being vegan is about making the best choices I can, to honour the light within me, that is connected with the light within you… and all other sentient life. My spiritual journey would be incomplete without honouring my pull towards unity and oneness.
Eating compassionately is a spiritual gift. It not only raises our vibration, but it sends ripples of the deepest love out into our world. It connects us all.

Why I went vegan?

I created a video a while back to talk a little more about exactly why I went vegan all those years ago…
