Winter Solstice

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter
Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

January 21st, 2020

by Dreama Vance

December 21st is Winter Solstice for the northern hemisphere. It is my most favorite day of the entire year!

Yin energy is at its peak and calls us to settle down with a warm cup of herbal tea and reflect on the past year. It calls us inside ourselves to contemplate, meditate, and rest in the reassurance of the Presence.

You can feel this energy pulling you. The energy calls you inward. It is one of the reasons we experience so much stress during this time of the year. We are running around madly, busy as can be, exactly opposite of what the energies of Nature are calling us to do. When we are in harmony with the Earth and her energies, we move into flow and grace. Stop and rest today. Be still and quiet your mind and allow reflection.

I have been reflecting during Winter Solstice for several years now. As I reflect on the past year, a single word or phrase will come to consciousness that identifies the energy of the year just lived. It will be the theme or topic of experience that life has given me in my journey.

In January of this year (2019) I started a new Qigong course with a new teacher. One of the many benefits of this class was I actually started practicing every day! It is absolutely amazing what practicing every day does, no matter what skill or habit you are trying to develop. I have been studying Qigong for many years now, but my practice was inconsistent. So I can speak of the difference that I see as a result of daily practice for almost a year now. It is like the difference between night and day! In fact, I would say I have learned more and benefited more from this past year than all of the previous years combined, just because I practiced every day!

This one concept, "Practice Every Day," has such profound impact, that I hope you will take it to heart and apply it in your own life to what you are working to develop.

Applying this "practice every day" to daily meditation is life changing!

One of the benefits I noticed both in my Qigong practice and in my meditation practice is this: Your practice changes from something you "make yourself do" to something you love doing! It happens rather quickly, too. Can you imagine loving meditation?

Here's the second benefit from daily practice both in Qigong and meditation: The benefits from each begin to build exponentially. Daily practice carries more impact than the same number of days practiced randomly.

The third benefit is this: What you learn and achieve begins to move out into your daily life. In other words, the benefits that you experience during the practice of Qigong or during your meditation don't just last during that time period. Those benefits begin to grow and blossom and they start to manifest in the rest of your daily life. Your life begins to reflect more peace. You find yourself remaining calm in spite of discord. You find yourself responding with compassion instead of aggravation when others are ranting.

It is amazing really!

This concept of daily practice has expanded into other areas of my life once I figured out the many benefits. You start your daily practice with small, easy, doable short periods of practice. With Qigong, I started with two minute drills and, with meditation, you can start with three to five minute periods. This is your foundation. Soon you will find yourself naturally expanding the time without effort. You can start just about any habit this way. The key is establishing the habit. To do this, practice every day. That is the goal - every day practice - not how long you practice. Like I said, the time will increase naturally as you practice daily.

You can do this with just about anything you want to develop, like an exercise program, or journaling, meditation, or even cleaning the closet! You can even create changes in your diet, like with my favorite, starting a daily juice program!

Daily practice has been the theme running throughout my past year and indeed, the results are so powerful that I will continue to use this technique when starting anything new in my life. The energies of the year are never discarded in the new year, but instead, they add to the wisdom of our experience of life and continue to light our way.

I hope you will take the time this Solstice to go within and allow Spirit to reveal what your word or phrase has been this year so you may explore what you have learned and the wisdom you have gained.

As we reach the tipping point of inner, still, Yin energy, it begins to flow into Yang. May your word or phrase of this past year be a light to the beginning new Yang energies as they start to become active and begin to flow as we move into the New Year.

Many, many blessings to you!

Dreama

Natural Abundance

Owen Waters and Dreama Vance.

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter

Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness.

December 15, 2019.

.

Nature is a constant reminder of the principle of abundance.
Nature routinely produces more than it needs, thousands of times over. Rather than producing one acorn to grow a replacement oak tree, a mature oak will produce up to 50,000 acorns in a good year, and the tree will keep producing for hundreds of years.
That is the natural way.
Plants produce thousands of seeds in order to guarantee the survival of their species.
That is the natural way.

As just one example, palm trees produce thousands of seeds per year.

When Infinite Being created the universe, did it stop there? Not at all, it creates as many versions of the universe as are needed so that all possibilities of existence can be experienced.
That is the infinite way.
Limited thinking makes people believe that resources are limited, that there is only “so much” available. While this appears to be true at the time, it ignores the fact that you can create new abundance in many ways.
Did the number of horses in the 19th Century limit how easily people can travel today? Not at all. The car was invented, along with today’s 200-horsepower engines.
Did the cost of a large business computer in 1970 limit how much computing power we have today? Not at all. The personal computer changed all that. Today, home computers are far more powerful than the largest business computers were in 1970.
Trip to Mars?

Did the cost of flying into outer space in the 1960s limit people’s ability to go on tourist trips to Mars today? Well, okay… more work needs to be done on that one!

Since nature is so abundant, how can people tap into that abundance and create it in their own lives? It certainly doesn’t happen by making loud demands at a conscious level, or just by wishing, wanting, or hoping. It is human consciousness which creates lack, and it is also human consciousness which creates abundance.
If it is human consciousness that is doing the creating, then why isn’t everyone creating abundance, joy, and peace?
There are principles involved in how we create. Can you write them down on a piece of paper?
One of the main teachings of metaphysics is that you create your reality. The question is, HOW are you doing it? Even though you may believe the former, do you understand the latter?
We are constantly creating.
So, how exactly are we doing this? Most of us are not sitting on the couch “mentalizing” a red sports car – or whatever – for 8 hours a day. There has to be more involved than just visualizing, and there is!
On our new course, Creating Abundance: Living Life to the Fullest, you will learn how the process works. In addition, we are taking things to the next level – the forms of fourth-dimensional consciousness that support the conscious creation of a better life and a better world.
For the powerful new principles we will reveal in January 2020, be sure to sign up for our Creating Abundance course.

Gratitude and Thanksgiving

by Owen Waters

December 1st, 2019

Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

Gratitude is a key that opens the door to the flow of unconditional love through your heart. The heartfelt expression of gratitude, either in words or in thought, focuses on the plenty that you have rather than anything that may be missing in your life.

The traditional American holiday of Thanksgiving dates back to the early pilgrims in Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts in 1621. As pilgrims, they were inclined to fast and pray for all the things that they desperately needed.

When Founding Father Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) wrote of those times, he understood the great value of gratitude. He said:

"There is a tradition that in the planting of New England, the first settlers met with many difficulties and hardships, as is generally the case when a civilized people attempt to establish themselves in a wilderness country. Being so piously disposed, they sought relief from heaven by laying their wants and distresses before the Lord in frequent set days of fasting and prayer."

All that praying and fasting, he said, made them "gloomy and discontented." Happily, he went on, a farmer "of plain sense" suggested to the Pilgrim Assembly that instead of continuing to bother the Lord with their complaints and requests, they for once thank Him for the blessings they had been given. For although times were still hard, things were getting better.

Instead of a fast, the farmer suggested, it would be more fitting to proclaim a day of thanksgiving. His advice was heeded, and "from that day to this," as Franklin said, we have "every year observed [these] circumstances of public felicity."

In the case of the pilgrims, gratitude opened them up to receiving ever more of the blessings of nature. Prior to that, their want had been closing down the natural flow of abundance and making their circumstances seem even harder than they were.

Giving thanks is the expression of gratitude, and gratitude is one of the most beautiful secrets in spiritual life.

Gratitude is a form of love, and love is something which flows from the Creator of the universe through all forms of life and manifestation. Without love, life in the universe cannot exist. Love is the universal force of preservation which holds creation in manifestation.

The Natural Flow of Love

Love is as natural as the universe. By design, there is a tension between the forces of creation and universal love. It is this tension which controls the size of the universe, holding it within its envelope. It is this tension which regulates the size of an electron's orbit around a nucleus. Love is the force which retains electrons in their orbits, making atoms possible and the existence of life as we know it.

You can block love, or you can allow it to flow naturally through you. Falling in love with another person is an allowance of the flow of love through your heart. In a world where everything has the appearance of separateness, it is a surrender to the underlying unity of all life. It is a place of apparent vulnerability, a willingness to take the risk that separation will once again return if that love is later lost.

When you allow your heart to open to the universe's flow of love, gratitude comes with that flow. Gratitude for being alive, for just existing, for just being in the flow of the adventure of life. Gratitude for the Sun that gives us life. Gratitude for the Earth that gives us our home in the cosmos. Gratitude for the people that you love, and for those who share your journey through life.

Gratitude flows unimpeded from an open heart. When you allow it, it flows as freely as the sunshine, unobstructed by judgments or conditions.

Quality of Life

One of the most endearing things a person can say to a loved one is this:

"I'm grateful for having you in my life, and I appreciate you for who you are."

If you haven't already tried this, try it sometime. It adds new meaning to the words, "quality of life."

The Magical Alchemy of Personal Transformation

I was fascinated to read of the transformational experiences in the life of a contemporary of mine. I knew Amma Magi when we learned spiritual healing together in London in the 1970s. Her brief biographical work begins,

"I set foot on Greek soil for the first time in September 1997. During the summer I had lost both my mother and my spiritual teacher to the afterlife.

"My husband and I had booked into a lovely hotel in Athens, St George Lycabettus, with a swimming pool on the roof and a glorious view of the Acropolis.

"On the second day we visited the famous Delphi Sanctuary high up in the Parnassus mountain range some three hours journey from the capital of Greece. I was awestruck by its magic.

"With an open heart I asked the Oracle for guidance: 'What is my purpose in life?'"

Her experiences are quite fascinating and will, I am sure, resonate deeply with many of you.

The Power of Your Inner Being

by Owen Waters

November 17th, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter
Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

There is a power within you which very few suspect.
While your “outer self” – your daily waking consciousness – is focused upon the external world, your inner being encompasses all aspects of your consciousness. Your inner being includes your outer self, your subconscious mind, and all the other, so-called “unconscious” parts of your mind that psychologists have tried to identify.
Your inner being is your complete consciousness. It is all of the “separate” parts of your consciousness in one unified package. Your inner being is also your soul – the real you, the complete you. It has also been referred to as your “higher self” because, compared to the consciousness of the outside world, most of your inner being operates at a higher frequency of consciousness. It manages many essential functions for you while your outer self focuses upon the experience of life in the external world through your five senses.
As members of the human race, we are spiritual adventurers who have projected ourselves into a physical realm in order to experience an intense focus of consciousness. Our purpose in the physical realm of consciousness is to gain a sharply-defined sense of identity and then to expand our awareness into heart-centered consciousness and beyond.
These stages of consciousness are reflected in the human chakra system, which is a set of gateways of consciousness between you and the outside world. The main portion of Western society today functions at the level of the solar plexus chakra, which emphasizes intellectual and technical development. Then, there is an ever-increasing body of people who function at the level of the heart chakra. These leading-edge people spend much of their time functioning through this holistic and integrative chakra. Here they learn how to be heartfelt and then – the next stage – heart-powered in their consciousness.
Through meditation, spiritual pioneers go further still and activate the throat chakra, which is the center of powerful creativity. It is also the level of consciousness where your soul or inner being is based. This higher frequency of consciousness carries with it an enormous power to create any reality that you need in order to realize your potential in life.
While the consciousness of the heart chakra is more expanded than that of the solar plexus chakra, the throat chakra is even more expanded still. Your inner being’s field of perception and influence reaches out to include many functions and abilities which are mostly dormant in the daily consciousness of the outer self. These include:
• An intuitive awareness of situations, one which sees deeply beneath any surface appearances.
• Spiritual connection. Your inner being is your personal connection to Infinite Being.
• Connection to the universe as a whole. Your inner self has the capability to be aware of anything that happens anywhere in the universe. It can also reach out to communicate with the inner being of anyone who has the answer to something which you seek to solve. It then feeds that information into your outer self’s focused segment of consciousness through intuition and dreams.
• The inner senses. These are inner versions of the outer senses. Inner sight is the sense that sees the subtle energy effects produced by fields of consciousness, such as, for example, human auras. Inner hearing provides empathic and telepathic communication with others as needed. Inner touch reveals the past history and associations of physical objects. Inner taste and smell provide an awareness of the subtle energies emanating from substances.
Imagine having access to all of these abilities! With them, you could sail through life, experiencing true joy, continually discovering and expressing more of your true potential in life.
These inner abilities do not have to be developed within your daily consciousness. You already possess them at the level of your inner being. You need only practice regular communication with your inner being in order to gain from this unlimited source of wisdom, insight and creativity. Tune into your inner being through
(a) regular, daily meditation, and
(b) by being receptive to the “still, small voice within” of your intuition. The more you pay attention to your intuitive insights, the more you realize how profoundly correct they are.
When you align with your inner self, your true potential begins to manifest and miracles begin to happen in your life!
Owen Waters.

How the Conscious Universe Works

by Owen Waters

November 10th, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter
Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

The universe only exists when you are observing it,” or so the popular theory goes.

This theory is an offspring of quantum physics. It says that, because the observer affects the outcome of experiments, the observer is key to reality. The theory goes on to suggest that the universe only exists when you look at it; therefore you must be creating the universe from your consciousness.

This is actually not a new idea. The old Zen riddle, “If a tree falls in a forest with no one to hear it, then does it make a sound?” reflects the same style of thinking. It suggests that nothing happens in the universe without an observer being present.

There is some validity to this theory in that, at the deepest level of consciousness, you are Infinite Being. At that deepest level, you are that which creates the entire universe, and that which maintains it in motion. However, at the everyday, human level of consciousness, the universe exists and runs quite happily without human intervention, whether or not anyone is watching it. The tree makes a noise when it falls, whether or not any human observers are present at the time.

Take, for example, the Pleiades, the star cluster which is also called the Seven Sisters. Often, on a clear night, you can see the Seven Sisters twinkling in the sky, even though they are five hundred light-years distant. Because of that distance, you are actually observing where the Seven Sisters were five hundred years ago. It took that long for the light image to reach your eyes. Basically, you are observing history in the night sky, not the actual, current position of the stars.

If you were creating the universe by virtue of being its observer, as the theory goes, then you would actually witness the Seven Sisters in their current position, and not in the position that they were five hundred years ago.

The idea that we live in a conscious universe has been gaining ground steadily for a number of years. The conscious universe is much more than a universe which is simply self-aware. The fabric of the universe is consciousness. The universe consists entirely of consciousness. The objects in the universe are all made of consciousness. Everything in the universe is fabricated from aspects of original consciousness, interwoven and set into motion.

The chair on which you sit appears to be made of physical material. It has the appearance of a solid object that exists somewhere outside of yourself. However, physical matter is composed of subatomic energy particles, and energy, in turn, is composed of compressed consciousness. So, the chair is made up of 100% consciousness. It only appears to be a separate object outside of you because it is a projection of consciousness within consciousness.

Physical objects have their own specific locations in space. Space, however, is just a projected illusion, a concept manufactured by consciousness so that the All may be divided into an infinite variety of apparently separate parts.

Time is also a projection of consciousness. Time is a concept whereby the infinite parts of the All can engage in the appearance of movement. The underlying reality is still the eternal Now and yet time makes change, and therefore an infinite variety of experiences, possible.

An everyday analogy of projected reality is a movie projected onto a screen. You know that the movie is just the projection of a recorded, dramatic scene, but it’s easy to forget that as you become involved in the unfolding drama. The movie appears like a real-life drama for as long as it absorbs your attention.

Time and space were fabricated within the consciousness of the universe in order to set the stage for life as we know it. Because the universe is made of 100% consciousness, all things are within it, and therefore subjective. Nothing is really “out there,” even though life appears to be an objective experience. All physical reality is a projection within your consciousness, not something outside of, or separate from, yourself.

Each and every object in the universe – a table, a chair, a car, a house, anything – is not only composed of 100% consciousness, it actually IS conscious in its own way!

Sending Light to Other People

by Owen Waters

November 3rd, 2019

Light Workers generally believe in sending light to other people and places in order to bring healing to the Earth. However, confusion can arise over whether this is the right thing to do, or if it interferes with the karma of the people that they are helping.

People do have their lives planned out. Their path through life is sometimes referred to as their karmic pattern. These plans can include challenges which are strong enough to change the way they see life.

If you plan to send healing energy directly to another individual, then, under normal circumstances, you would need their permission to do so to avoid violating their free will. Reiki practitioners avoid such a problem by sending energy to the person's "highest good." This actually addresses the soul or inner self of the person. If healing is not appropriate at that time for that person, then the energy will be deflected and not intrude into their space.

When you are dealing with groups of people rather than individuals, the situation becomes quite different. The larger the group of people, the more appropriate it is for you to send energy for peace or healing. This is because, as a member of the human race, you have an obligation to raise the collective frequency of the mass consciousness.

We live within the mental atmosphere of Planet Earth. Every human on Earth contributes to the upliftment - or to the pollution - of that global field of mass consciousness. When one of your functions in life includes contributing to that collective, mass consciousness, then the situation about individuality and free will does not arise.

As spiritual people we are obliged to add our energy to the mass consciousness for the upliftment of all. As people on planet Earth we have the right, and the responsibility, to spiritualize the planet. The more light, peace and enlightenment you add to the global mind, the better you have served humanity.

Meditation, prayer and, especially, the channeling of energy towards world peace and enlightenment are ways that we can absorb and re-transmit the life-energy of the universe in order to bring upliftment to our planetary environment.

The Royal House ~ Return to the Garden 3 ~ Dreama Vance.

Return to the Garden.

Part Three.

The Royal House.

by Dreama Vance.

July 2, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics, Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness.

“I’m never going to juice!” she said.
“Never, never, never!”
Okay, no one is twisting your arm. You don’t have to juice to change your diet. Think of it this way, you can push your car up the hill, or, you can get in, start the engine, and drive up the hill. Driving is a lot easier than pushing. This is what juicing does. It starts the engine and powers your body up the hill. The hill is the change you’re making in your eating habits.
Part Two of Return to the Garden explained the whys of juicing. It is the King. It carries the power. It carries the power both nutritionally and energetically. It’s your choice.
There are still easy ways to add fresh, living foods to your diet. These foods add light and life to your whole being. Living foods from the garden are enlightening and enlivening foods. Of course we want to eat them!
This series of articles is not about medical advice or nutritional advice. This series is about awakening consciousness and what we can do to support this process. What we eat makes a difference. There is much controversy and confusion about diet today. My guiding principle in all of my studies and amidst the confusion has been Nature. What does Nature give us to eat? Fruits, greens, veggies, herbs, nuts and seeds, sprouts. Always, I let Nature guide me in my decision-making process. She is much wiser than most of us!
Before I go on, let’s take a moment to clear up a myth about fruit. I don’t know where it started, but there is an idea that fruit is bad for you. Well, I would not recommend a fried apple pie from a fast food restaurant. But, once again, I look at Nature. What does she tell us about fruit? It is abundant! She gives us abundant fruits throughout the different seasons. This is all I need to know.

However, if you need more confirmation, Dr. Michael Greger of NutritionFacts.org says we should stuff ourselves with fruit. He says, “The two most prominent dietary risks for death and disability in the world are not eating enough fruit and eating too much salt.”
Hmm, I told you Mother Nature knows best. As you start eating more real food from the garden, you naturally eat less processed food. Thus, a lot of that salt and sugar that is hidden in processed “food” goes away, too. This is also how your tastes will naturally evolve and come alive.
By the way, if you have trouble digesting fruit, eat fruit first. It digests quickly. If you are used to eating fruit for dessert, eat dessert first! You know what they say about life being short! Food combining rules are a topic for an entire article, but eating fruits alone or with leafy greens is easier on the digestive process.
So, who is Queen of the Royal House? Smoothies, of course! Why? Because they are so fast, convenient, easy and… delicious! Smoothies got boosted into the limelight when Victoria Boutenko discovered she could get more greens into her diet by blending them with some fruit and water. Thus, green smoothies were born and became a revolution.

Most people find it easy to eat a banana, not so much a head of kale. So when you can combine them and they taste like a banana, but have the nutrient density of kale, you have a winner that just about everyone enjoys.
Remember to rotate the greens, both in smoothies and in juicing. It is important that you do this. Variety is important. Each type of plant offers a different nutrient profile. Also, each individual plant can have slight variations. I often buy the same type of vegetable from different farmers at the market because they are grown in different places, and thus have a slightly different nutritional profile for the body. With variety, you offer the body a smorgasbord of nutritional choices to meet its needs.
Note: Unlike juices that remove most of the fiber, smoothies keep the fiber. This is one of the benefits because we need fiber in our diet. However, you still have to digest this even though most of the chewing has been done for you by the blender blade. Therefore, it is wise to only blend up the same amount of food you would normally be able to chew up and eat. In other words, you’re not going to be able to blend up those 11 carrots and think you can consume them that way instead of juicing. That is a sure way to a tummy ache. So keep that concept in mind when you start blending smoothies.
Most people think about a sweet flavor when they hear the word smoothie, so let’s talk about sweet fruit smoothies.
You can vary the recipes by changing your fruits and greens. I like to keep mine simple, so here is my go-to recipe: fresh or frozen bananas, frozen berries, greens, and water or fresh orange juice. This is my staple recipe and then I can add other fruits as I desire.
I usually use bananas because they are widely available, inexpensive, easy to cut up and freeze to keep on hand, and they give your smoothie a creamy consistency. You can also use mango, peaches or avocado for that creamy consistency. I use frozen organic berries because they are readily available all year. They are usually frozen quickly after they are picked, thus maintaining their powerhouse of antioxidants. If you are new to green smoothies, you could start with spinach or even romaine lettuce for your greens as they are very mild in flavor.
I started drinking green smoothies when I had orange trees in my backyard, so I would quickly hand-squeeze the juice and use it in my smoothies. Yum! It makes the smoothie a little sweeter than when you use just water as the liquid. I found this was delicious and I didn’t need to add sweeteners like dates. As your tastes evolve, or if you already don’t like too much sweet, you can just use water, or mix it half and half. You can then use the whole peeled orange as one of your added fruits or not. No cheating with pasteurized orange juice! Use only fresh juice! Always!
When making your smoothies, put your liquid in first and add enough to start things blending, about a cup. Add about 2/3 fruit and 1/3 greens when you first start and you can add more greens as you get used to the taste. Be sure you have enough liquid to get the blender moving and you can then add more liquid if needed to get the consistency you like in your smoothie.
So here is my secret tip for all of you devoted smoothie fans. This will take your sweet smoothie recipe to a gourmet level. I add a few fresh leaves from my rosemary plant, not too many, just enough to add an interesting note to my Banana Blueberry O.J. smoothie. Use about an inch or two of one of the sprigs of the plant, and just use the leaves. You can also do this with fresh basil. Use a small handful of basil leaves. Add one or the other to your blender full of green fruit smoothie and enjoy!
Does it have to be a green smoothie? Of course not! Who doesn’t love the beautiful pink of a strawberry banana smoothie? There are a gazillion recipes to try.

One of my favorite snacks is a “chocolate milkshake.” It is just water, frozen banana, 2 or three dates, a tablespoon each of carob and mesquite powder, a teaspoon of tahini and a few ice cubes. It has no dairy and no chocolate. It is delicious and easy and I always have these ingredients on hand. This is living food. It nourishes your body, delights your senses, and you feel happy when you eat this way.
The only reason we focus on green smoothies is because it is such an easy way to add greens to your diet. Remember, greens are your mineral storehouse.
One of the reasons my green fruit smoothies are routinely bananas, berries and greens is because I prefer to just eat other fruits that are in season! I love to eat and totally enjoy whatever delicious fruit is in season. I don’t want to blend it with other things. I want to eat my juicy mango just as it is, or my peaches, or my cherries, or watermelon…. Yum! This way of eating doesn’t have to be complex. It can be simple and easy. In fact, the simpler it is, the easier your body likes it.
Before I forget, let me just say that a high-powered blender works best for smoothies and also for making nut milks and other goodies in a living food lifestyle. I’ve had a Vitamix for years and years, the same one, and use it all the time. There are other brands out now, too. They are more expensive than a regular blender, but worth it if you want to pursue this lifestyle. I’d much rather have a smoothie than a chunkie! Once you start blending everyday, often multiple times a day, the high-powered blender will more than pay for itself.
Next time, we’ll talk about “What’s for lunch?” and how you can add more food from the garden in the same simple and easy way.
The daily juice habit, a daily smoothie, and fresh fruit are ways to start your day with the light of the Sun. They empower your spirit, nurture you, and connect you to Life. Choose one and make it a conscious daily habit. Start to consciously add light to your life and body.
No matter where you are on your journey, you can begin. Come alive in a totally new way! I have so much more to share. But you only experience the change when you decide to implement it!

The 7 Chakras: Portals to Cosmic Awakening ~ Anthony O’Flynn

The 7 Chakras:

Portals to Cosmic Awakening.

The chakras are our energetic blueprint. The knowledge of the chakras is a critical component to genuinely understand the nonphysical energy body. To understand who we truly are, we need to investigate this component of our being that is normally invisible to the naked eye – know thyself.
The word chakra itself means wheel in Sanskrit. This is due to the fact that the chakras are circular in shape. The chakras, however, do not spin. The nadis and the spokes or petals as they are sometimes called are fixed. It is the energy or prana that spins or moves through the chakras. An excellent comparison is the acupuncture points from Chinese medicine. These specific points are fixed yet it is the chi or the life-force that moves through the meridians.

The chakras are much more than just energy centres. The 7 chakras are complex in nature. They are responsible for maintaining physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. In fact, the condition of the aura and the chakras will have a direct correspondence to a person’s health as well as their emotional and psychological state. Although there are seven major chakras, numerous secondary chakras have specific and different functions.
They represent the complete spectrum of human consciousness. These states can fluctuate depending on the various situations we experience and how we integrate our awareness into our experience. They are our interface to the universe and our potential for evolution and inner transformation.

Muladhara Chakra – root support in Sanskrit

This chakra is related with the Earth element and consists of 4 spokes. Muladhara is essentially the battery of the being and is responsible for vitality. Many people who suffer from low energy levels are often disconnected from their inherent source of vitality, the Earth. People who work in big cities, in tall buildings, with air-conditioning are fundamentally deprived of prana, the basic life-force. By connecting with the Earth, even the simple act of walking on the beach (barefoot) will energise this chakra.
As this chakra is the root, it will directly influence the ‘glow’ of the other chakras and the aura in general. It is the foundation and the base level of our energetic being. It is also the home of kundalini shakti, the primordial energy that although dormant in most people, once awakened rises through the energetic column known as sushumna nadi creating transformation and spiritual awakening as it fuses with the crown. This awakening is the union of energy and consciousness, which is the fusion of the feminine and masculine to produce states of samadhi or cosmic consciousness.
Psychologically, the energy of fear and greed is located here. This creates a fight or flight mentality. Muladhara is also responsible for the overall integration on the physical plane.
This chakra is the location of some of the most basic instincts such as survival, shelter, eating and sleeping. In comparison to the upper chakras, muladhara is a more primitive form of consciousness but highly significant for maintaining life. Physically this chakra controls the bones and the teeth, the dense aspects of our being and is also related with the sense of smell.

Svadhisthana chakra – one’s own dwelling place in Sanskrit

This chakra is related with the water element and consists of 6 spokes. Svadhisthana is a highly significant chakra as approximately 80% of humanity is dominant in this form of consciousness. Similarly, approximately 75% of this planet is water. This chakra is related to the collective consciousness and incorporates many of our social norms, ‘the done thing’.
As svadhisthana is related with the water element it will take the shape of any receptacle that it is poured into. If you pour water into a glass, it takes the shape of the glass. If you pour water into a pot, it takes the shape of the pot etc. This is notable as it reflects the lack of distinct individual values and beliefs that define svadhisthana. This chakra is therefore the crowd, the masses or the perceived norm. Opinions and beliefs are malleable to ‘fit in with the crowd’. If everyone is talking about the football, the person who thinks at the level of svadhisthana will want to fit in and then display an interest in football. This consciousness also reflects the need to ‘keep up with the neighbours’, be respectable and conform.
This way of being has given rise to the derogatory term ‘sheeple’ by those in the awakening community. The global elite exploit this form of consciousness as people who perceive reality through this lens just ‘go with the flow’ and are in fact afraid to be different or adopt an attitude that goes against mainstream beliefs. This is the core of the manipulation and control because this consciousness is simply not able to evaluate control systems and methods of manipulation. Judgment is unproductive as when this consciousness is dominant it is simply not possible to decipher the orchestrated methods of global control and deception.
The Roman phrase ‘give them bread and circuses’ summarises the distraction and entertainment-celebrity-gossip consciousness of today, which is precisely designed to keep humanity locked in the lower of frequencies of existence. Moreover, the sense of taste is the sense governed by svadhisthana, which is typified by fashionable ‘foodie’ culture and further reinforces the point. This reflects the pleasure seeking nature of svadhisthana.
Breaking free of these control systems requires a rising of consciousness to begin to understand the powerful indoctrination that humanity currently endures and having the ‘eyes to see’.
Svadhisthana is also related with the moon, sexuality and reproduction hence the relationship to the genitals and the tongue. A sexy, charismatic or charming person is a definitive characteristic of svadhisthana chakra. Even forms of dance that involve sensual movements of the pelvic area is a reflection of the consciousness at this level.
When most people consider their personal issues and emotional problems, they are predominantly on this chakra. The water element is quite heavy and thus depression, feeling dejected, self-pity and sadness are all related to impurities or imbalances in this chakra.

Manipura chakra – city of jewels in Sanskrit

This is a reference to the dazzling aspect of manipura as it is related to the fire element and consists of 10 spokes.
Manipura is the antithesis of svadhisthana as it is related to the Sun and the qualities associated with leadership, authority, power and self-confidence. Svadhisthana is the crowd. Manipura are the leaders of the crowd. This consciousness assumes the role of leadership, the emotional and psychological connection to success and ‘making it’ as well as positions of influence and power.
In essence, all personal development teachings to be more motivated, productive, dynamic, confident and to believe in oneself are related to this chakra. This is an expression of the fire element which embodies these qualities.
However, the lower emotions of manipura include anger, frustration, rage, arrogance and egocentric behaviour. This is an expression of the disharmony of the fire in an impure state. The precision and control of martial arts is also related to this chakra, which is a reflection of the legs being connected to this sphere of force. The sense of sight is also related to manipura chakra.
Importantly, the lower three chakras are not ‘bad’ as there is only an issue if there are impurities, blockages or the chakras are imbalanced. Otherwise there will be an ongoing harmonious experience. Yet all negative states of consciousness and emotions can be attributed to these 3 lower energy centres.

Anahata – unstruck in Sanskrit

This refers to the quality of the soul that is indestructible or eternal. Anahata chakra has 12 spokes and is related to the air element. The numbers of spokes the chakras have is significant as there is a relationship between the number of spokes of the chakra and the consciousness that is embodied. For example, in regard to anahata, the 12 astrological signs, the 12 months of the year, the 12 hours of the day, the 12 disciples of Jesus, the 12 different names of the Sun god Surya (and there are many others), all have a relationship to the heart.
The consciousness of the heart is also considered a key aspect of the ongoing planetary Paradigm Shift. Many mystics claim that this is the cosmic plan for humanity and the future earth will be characterised by love and compassion.
Yet the prevalent issue of heart disease in today’s society although can be related to dietary and lifestyle choices is still a disharmony at the level of the physical heart.
Significantly, the etheric body and the chakras control the physical body. If there is a disturbance, weakness or blockage in the subtle bodies, this will eventually be reflected in the physical body. Generally, the deepest and most complete way of healing an emotional issue is to work directly on the non-physical aspect of our being. Although this is not true in every situation as once a health issue has manifested in the physical body, the health of the physical body also needs to be addressed. The cause of the issue itself can be due to an emotional imbalance, which will originate in the astral body at the emotional level and then filter through to the physical body. This is definitively the body-mind connection.
The consciousness of the heart is always beautiful. These qualities of tenderness, softness, humility, self-abnegation, compassion, forgiveness, empathy, affectivity, self-acceptance, pure unconditional love and deep inner peace are all wonderful aspects of anahata chakra.
There is also a form of deep refinement, a certain gracefulness and a deep harmony that reflects an individual with this resonance. The connection to the air element also gives an energetical lightness to someone who is dominant at this level. The arms and hands are related to the heart and this correlates with the sense of touch and the practice of various forms of healing through the hands which all correspond to anahata chakra.
Anahata chakra is also significant as there are 3 chakras above and 3 chakras below. This is the middle way or middle path of the heart that unites the lower and higher aspects of our being.
The chakras also comprise the polarity of the universe – the plus and the minus, the solar and the lunar, the yin and the yang. Thus in the case of the heart, the capacity to feel love, to understand and to receive love is yin. The ability to emit love, to produce it and to manifest love is yang. This means the chakras needs to be balanced and centred between the 2 poles of the universe for deep and profound harmony.

Visuddha – especially pure in Sanskrit

This chakra is related with the ether, which is the fifth element and has 16 spokes. The number of spokes or petals is significant as this is an indicator of the complexity of consciousness. As the chakras move higher in the body they also become more complex in their scope of consciousness.
Visuddha chakra is related to time and space. This is the true nature of reality that transcends the experience of time from the limited perspective of past, present and future. At this level, time is experienced as a single duration – the eternal now. Visuddha encapsulates the vastness of space, the cosmos and the expansion of the universe. This elevated sphere of consciousness also includes aesthetics, sacred geometry – and a deeper form of inspiration that can unlock the mysteries of the universe and discover the true laws of reality. Some classical music also has the frequency of Visuddha, which has a pristine and sublime resonance.
This level of consciousness is rare on this planet at this time, yet traces are still apparent such as the exceptional aesthetic qualities and precision of the Great Pyramid at Giza.
As this chakra rules over the thyroid and parathyroid glands and as thyroid health issues are common today for women over 40, it is important be aware of the significance of this energy centre for maintaining good health in this area of the body.
The purity of visuddha chakra filters through to an individual’s actions and the type of environments they frequent and the lifestyle they adopt. Clairaudience is another aspect of visuddha as hearing is the sense connected to this energy centre. Other paranormal powers also include the ability to access the akashic records. The throat chakra also governs the power of speech from a very elevated perspective.

Ajna – command in Sanskrit

This chakra is related to the mind and has 96 spokes although is it often depicted with just 2 large petals. This is related to the fact that it is the final level of polarity (yin and yang) before connecting to unity consciousness.
Ajna chakra is a truly elevated sphere of consciousness that few can truly embody in today’s society. The power of ajna is to offer a superior form of intellect that is consistent with that of a genius. Examples include those people that can flick through a telephone book and remember the numbers of each person, a chess player that can play numerous games of chess simultaneously and win, as well as those that can learn and retain knowledge quickly, all resonate with the power of the third eye.
Ajna chakra also contains the power of clairvoyance, telepathy and a form of ‘knowing’. Some of the great prophets of history such as Nostradamus had their gift from the opening of ajna chakra. The third eye has this capacity for one to be a seer or a visionary – the ability to see with the mind’s eye.
The assumption that as ajna is connected to the mind that all mental health issues are related to this chakra is incorrect. Each chakra has an aspect that is connected both to the emotional body as well as the mental body. So it is best to harmonise the chakra that is relevant to the specific emotional or mental issue. Although, because of its superior nature, ajna does control the chakras beneath it.

Sahasrara – thousand-petaled in Sanskrit

Although sahasrara is not technically structured in the same way as the 6 other major chakras, it is still classified as one of the 7 chakras. This is because sahasrara is not a wheel but it covers the top of the head and is shaped like a steeple pointing upwards, similar to the ‘crown’ of Buddha.
Sahasrara is the pinnacle of human evolution. Its activation produces states of samadhi or cosmic consciousness in the yogic tradition. This opening creates what is known as enlightenment, moksha, mukti, sartori, self-realisation and is the gateway to transcendence to experience the true nature of reality.
The consciousness of sahasrara is characterised by lucidity, detachment, sacredness and a higher state of consciousness. Sahasrara is the sum total of all the chakras. The enduring symbol of the beam of light fusing with the prism and then dispersing into all of the colours of the rainbow succinctly represents the quality of this chakra. This is because sahasrara has no polarity, it is oneness and is unity consciousness. Sahasrara embodies the ultimate oneness of creation and eliminates the role of the ego that creates the illusion of separation.
The subject of the chakras is a vast one. Human beings are a direct carbon copy of the Universe. The quantum physics understanding that the part is in the whole and the whole is in the part reflects this wisdom. Ultimately, to fully embody and know the 7 chakras is to know the universe and experience the complete spectrum of consciousness that is the potential of humanity.

Return to the Garden, Part Two: Dietary Magic ~ Dreama Vance.

Return to the Garden.

Part Two.

Dietary Magic.

by Dreama Vance.

June 19, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics, Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness.

Changing to an unprocessed plant-based diet rich in organic, fresh, uncooked fruits and veggies is transformative and powerful at all levels of our being, not just physically and mentally, but emotionally and spiritually, too.
Can you just start eating from the garden? Of course! You can start by just eating an apple every day! But there is a powerful way, I think it may be a secret many people don’t know, to start you and keep you moving on your journey to eating those fresh, living foods that are full of light and life.
One of the best ways to start increasing your intake of fresh fruits and veggies is through the daily juicing habit. Make fresh juice. Remember inPart One we talked about how you now have to eat 11 carrots to get the same nutrition one carrot provided your grandma? I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I could sit down and eat 11 carrots. This is one of the perks of fresh juice! You can shovel in those carrots and greens.
Make your own fresh living juice everyday. It is a game changer!
There is something magical that begins to happen as you develop this habit. First, your body gets flooded with nutrients. You start to get those nutrients that have been missing from the other 10 carrots you weren’t eating! See how it works? It isn’t just carrots, of course, that are missing the nutrients they used to have, but all of our foods that are not grown in fertile, rich soil.
Something starts to happen when your body gets flooded with nutrients that are alive and full of life. Nothing packs in the nutrients like a fresh juice every day. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Let me take a moment to say this again. NOTHING packs in the nutrients like a fresh vegetable juice. The reason should be obvious. By removing a lot of the fiber, you can consume more, like the other 10 carrots. You cannot do this with a smoothie. I love smoothies and they have a wonderful place in the living food diet. But they don’t replace the daily juice habit.
I know this from my own experience. Sometimes life happens, you aren’t able to juice and smoothies are the next best thing, primarily because they are fast, easy, and convenient. Before I ever started the daily juice habit, for 10 months I made daily green smoothies when I was taking care of my sister. They were quick, filling, and kept me going. Often, that is all I would have in the morning until dinner because I was very busy.
After I started daily juicing there was another period in my life for about another 10 months when I couldn’t juice. So again I had a daily green smoothie. I still do smoothies. They have a definite and beneficial place in adding living food to your diet. Twenty months of green smoothies and no juice…good health and benefits for sure…
However, it is juicing on a daily basis that causes the magic to happen.

When you start the daily juice habit it is like some part of you has been sleeping all these years and now it awakens and starts to take over, demanding real food and choosing it. I have experienced this and I have heard this from many others. Magic starts to happen.

Daily juicing naturally, almost effortlessly, leads to choosing other healthy food options. Your taste buds will change. The daily juice habit supports you with powerhouse nutrition and it also helps keep you on your journey.
Once you develop the daily juice habit, if you miss a day, the next day when you juice, you will “hear” your body sigh with delight. After one summer of being on the road most of the time, I finally got home and made a green juice, sat down to enjoy it and literally heard my body say, “Thank Goodness! She finally fed us.” Communion between the consciousness of the body, the intelligence and wisdom of Nature and your own awareness begins to happen. Magic!
A second beneficial factor in juicing is the rapid absorption of nutrients into the blood stream, requiring little digestive effort. Think of eating as putting, let’s say 100 bucks worth of energy into your energy bank account, which is a primary reason to eat, to give us energy. However, that food requires energy be spent in the digestive process, so you have to spend energy in order to get energy from your food. You may even end up spending more to digest your food than you actually get from eating the food! With juicing this doesn’t happen. There is practically no energy spent in digestion.
This is why you drink your juice all by itself and on an empty stomach. You get all of the energy from the juice without spending any money from your bank converting it. Ka-ching! Juicing puts all the money in your energy bank.
These two factors are what make daily juicing such a powerhouse: 1) The ability to consume large amounts of nutrients that you would not be able to eat in a whole food form and 2) the ability to absorb those nutrients with very little energy expenditure.
Notice I am talking about daily juicing. It is the everyday habit that packs the punch, not just an occasional juice. Also, it is fresh, living juice, not bottled, pasteurized juice. I’m also talking about 24 to 32 ounces (up to a liter) of juice a day, mostly veggie juice, and most often green juice. Why? Most of us would rather eat our fruits and juice our veggies rather than the opposite way. Isn’t it easier to eat some oranges or apples rather than 10 carrots? I rest my case.
Why green juice? Greens are your mineral storehouse. Juicing is a great way to package dark, leafy greens so we are actually getting them into us, rather than just looking at them and thinking about how good they are for us…and still not eating them!
You can start slowly and build up the amount. Begin with a juice you like. It is the habit we want to create first. The point is to start juicing. If the thought of green juice makes you flee in terror, then start with something like carrot/apple juice, for example. Then you can add a little parsley. Then you can add celery and cucumber. See how it can evolve? Please start with a recipe so you don’t end up adding everything but the kitchen sink into your juice! A good juice book will teach you the “rules of juicing” so you don’t accidentally end up with terrible concoctions!
By the way, some “rules” are begging to be broken, so don’t be afraid to add apple to your green juices. I don’t know where that idea started, but there is this idea that green juice can’t have something like an apple or carrot for flavor. Who says? It took me years before I could like a green juice without apple. Look at all I would have missed in health benefits had I not added apple! I can guarantee you will not continue to juice if you do not enjoy the juice. It is just that simple.
Once you start juicing every day, it will become a habit, rather than a chore. At some point, you will even enjoy prepping your greens and washing your juicer. I know, it’s hard to believe, but this actually happens as a result of your change in consciousness.
What you eat affects your consciousness. It is one of the most deeply hidden understandings.
I would like to spend just a moment to talk about quality. Remember those 11 carrots to replace the one grandmother ate? We want to be eating the best fruits and veggies we can. Organic, fresh from your own garden would be superb. I don’t have a garden, so I go to the farmers’ market every week. I love to shop this way. I can get fresh, local, organically grown produce. I love supporting these small farmers. When we eat locally grown food, we are connecting to the energy of the land where we live. We are feeding our immune system with local microbes that Nature gives us to support life in the very place we are living.

Eating plants that are fresh, organic, living food leads to greater sensitivity. You will actually feel the energy coming from those greens from the farmer. You can sense the life force. You will feel vibrant just looking at them and touching them. This is when gratitude begins to blossom. You don’t have to think of things for which you are grateful; you will just be grateful. This is when you actually start to enjoy washing your juicer! You will love making your juice. The daily juice habit makes you feel vibrant and alive!

You will be so happy, grateful, and joyous for life. You will feel connected to everything. You will start to awaken on so many levels. So much joy is right there, once we align with our being, once we come back into the wisdom teachings of the Mother. We are designed to eat this way, to be a part of the whole, to be connected, conscious and awake.
We are designed to be in love with Life! All of this from changing our diet! Who knew? Well, the ancients knew, and that is why the teachings have been hidden except for small groups that have carried this wisdom through time for us. Now all we have to do is start putting these teachings into practice.
Eat from the garden. Eat real food. Juice every day. Love will bloom.
Dreama Vance.

Return to the Garden – Part One ~ Dreama Vance.

Return to the Garden.

Part One.

by Dreama Vance.

June 19, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics, Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness.

Do you know it takes 11 carrots today to provide the nutrients your grandmother got from one carrot?

Do you know that diet affects your consciousness? It affects your mind. It affects your thoughts. It affects your actions. That’s pretty scary when you think of coffee and a doughnut. Wonder what those things are doing?

Ancient teachings like Ayurveda, Yoga, and the Essene teachings lead us to foods that I like to call “return to the garden” foods, fresh, live fruits and veggies. These are foods that help you turn within and create calm, peaceful thoughts. These are the foods we want to be eating to enhance our consciousness.
Changing our diets to achieve these goals is a journey.
There is, however, an actual path that makes it easier to achieve than what most people are doing, which is wandering aimlessly, following one fad after another, claiming it to “be their truth.” Really? There is only one Truth, and it belongs to everyone. If it is “your truth,” it is a belief. It is your belief. People believed the Earth was flat. It didn’t make it true. People believed the Earth was the center and the Sun revolved around it. Didn’t make it true.
Your beliefs are part of your journey and as they evolve, you evolve and so does your consciousness. We call it awakening. It is an ongoing process. We are in the time of The Shift when people are awakening faster and faster andawakening to greater and greater understandings.
In my own experience, I like to say your knowledge (of whatever topic) moves from the solar plexus center, which is our mental chakra and the lens through which most people view the world currently, to the heart center. When this happens, you see in an entirely different way. It is as if you never really understood the topic, even though you thought you understood it completely and thought you knew it all when you were functioning at the level of the solar plexus!

This is what happens when you change to a plant-based diet. Let me first say that there are three primary doors through which most people will come into a primarily vegan diet. One door is concern for their health, one door is concern for animal welfare, and one door is concern for the environment.

All three doors will open into a room where all these different people mingle and learn about each other and the door they each entered. Thus, you learn over time that your reason for changing your diet has a much broader impact than you first realized. Eventually you will see in a bigger way. Your heart will open more. You become more conscious.
Please be aware that this changing consciousness does not necessarily happen overnight. You grow. You can change your diet overnight, but the results take time to manifest. Be patient, with yourself and with others.
Changing to a plant-based diet, is only one step. There are many steps that lead away from the Standard American Diet (SAD), which is now, unfortunately, worldwide. The SAD is where most of us start our journey and is the extreme end of the spectrum that has lead us to chronic disease. This type of diet leads to sluggish thoughts, lack of clarity, and cruel behaviors. At the other end of the spectrum, which is the journey, we have fresh live plant foods that lead to a vibrant health-promoting, spiritual awakening diet.
To begin with, the SAD is full of processed food and rife with junk food. Really, it is a misnomer to call it food. How can you call something a blueberry muffin when it has no blueberries in it? And… what are those blue chemical blobs anyway? Do you really want to eat them? My point, of course, is that one of our first steps must be to eliminate those non-foods. Moving to plant-based is beneficial, but we also must eliminate those toxins of artificial everything found in processed and junk “food.”
With the trend in “veganism” hitting mainstream it is easy to fall into the junk food vegan diet, thinking you are making progress. I remember when I studied at one of the raw food institutes, the director held up a huge pair of “before” jeans that she used to wear and told us she had been a junk food vegan before changing to a raw food diet. Her previous vegan diet did not keep her from getting very ill or from gaining a lot of weight, as we could tell from the jeans.
Another step that must be taken on the journey that very few of the plant-based doctors are talking about is fresh, live food, the “return to the garden” food. This is the food you want to be eating. If it isn’t at least half of your diet, then you want to move in that direction. The more, the better. That is just the way it is. We are a part of Nature. We like to think we are separate from her and superior to her; but alas, we are not.
You may find this interesting. Fritz Popp, PhD. found that people who eat a live food diet (fresh raw fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds, sprouts) had an expanded living field that offers the highest level of biophoton energy. Biophoton energy is light that is emitted from a person and can be measured with a machine. People who eat a lot of junk food have about 1,000 biophoton units coming off them. People who eat primarily cooked vegan food have about 23,000 units. Newborn babies have 43,000 units. Live food eaters have 83,000 units. Talk about being the light! You can see how eating fresh live plants make a huge difference.
Really though, do you need science to tell you an apple picked from a tree grown in your own backyard is a better choice than a fried apple pie from a fast food restaurant?
Eat from the garden. Eat real food. Eat living uncooked fruits and vegetables. As we begin to align with the truth of our being, amazing, sustaining joy opens to us. Epiphanies will start occurring. You will begin living at another level. This information can only point the way. You must travel the journey.

No Matter Where You Are or How old You Are ~ Dreama Vance.

No Matter Where You Are or How old You Are.

by Dreama Vance.

May 24, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics, Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness.

No matter where you are on the food journey (and it is a journey!) eating more fresh raw fruits and veggies is a no-brainer. Don't let anyone tell you differently. And... guess what? It is never to late to start improving your diet. I just listened to Karin Dina, D.C. tell how her dad changed his diet at the age of 85 and it made a difference, allowing him to live into his nineties and in his own home until the last couple of months. He wanted her to be sure and tell her clients, "It is never to late."

So I wanted to tell you about a new book that is out on Amazon in digital format right now for next to nothing. If you get it now before the hard copy is available, how could you miss? It is called, "The Faithful Palate Diet: Discover the 7 Essential Raw Food Eating Habits that will Redesign your Diet, Reboot your Taste Buds, and Defend your Health as you Age" by Jeannie Hughes.

It's a great book that makes eating more raw food easy with simple recipes, but that is not the best part of the book. The best part is that it lays out a plan to stay on the path of healthy eating. By building the 7 steps into daily habits, you create a plan that keeps you eating what you know is good for you and therefore out of the "food traps" that lie in wait to ensnare us when we are tired, in a hurry, or just out and about town. These times are always the pitfalls that throw us off track from our good choices and can totally derail us for days, or even weeks.

This book is for everyone because everyone wants to eat more food that they know is good for them; hence, raw fruits and veggies. You can go at your own pace by starting one step at a time. This is how I started with juicing. I decided to make it a daily habit. You will see in the book how Jeannie healed herself of rheumatoid arthritis and other impairments by changing her diet and sticking with it, which is what led to the book!

It is very exciting to see an actual plan or path laid out for us to follow for success. Each step has recipes to support us that use normal, easy-to-find ingredients. Also, in the raw food movement there can be radical approaches and Jeannie has managed to avoid those extremes, maintaining a balanced approach of fresh raw fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds, sprouts, and any needed supplements from real food.

It is my pleasure to share this information with you and to support Jeannie and her message.

Return to the garden! Eat real food! So much joy awaits you!

Yours in letting the light shine,

Dreama Vance.

Spiritual Aliveness ~ Owen K Waters

Spiritual Aliveness.

by Owen K Waters

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter
Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

Spiritual aliveness is the result of making your spirituality the day's number one priority. Achieving this is fairly simple - as simple as being aware of one or two secrets of the universe and then setting your intention for each day.

Life is an expression of your spiritual self. You are here to gain experience on a grand scale. The small details of daily existence may not seem important, but they are all threads in the grand scheme of the life that you, as your inner self, planned before you were born.

It makes sense, therefore, to begin each day by becoming charged with the best supply of life energy available. Then you can make the most of each day's experiences as they unfold. Life energy, or etheric energy, is the main energy transmitted by the Sun. The Sun also radiates physical energy, such as light and heat, but the amount of physical energy pales in comparison to the amount of life-supporting, etheric energy which courses through our bodies.

At dawn each day, the Sun brings a great change to your local environment. The swing from darkness to light at dawn causes a turbulence in the ethers as the life energy in the atmosphere reorganizes itself for a day of new activity. Sunrise is the time of nature's awakening. It is the best possible time to recharge yourself for each new day of activity. Even if the sky is cloudy, the universal life energy comes streaming through your environment.

By beginning your day with a connection to the Sun's energy, you are actually aligning with the natural system of Creation. Infinite Being constantly feeds the universe with life energy in order to maintain all motion in the universe. Infinite Being sends the energy needed to maintain life through the central sun of the universe. From there, it works its way through the central suns of the galaxies and then through the suns of each solar system. Local suns radiate physical energy in addition to life energy.

In a world where people's main focus on life comes through their five physical senses, the Sun takes on a great significance.

The Sun is the closest thing to Infinite Being, the essence of God, within our sight.

What better way to start your day, than to breath in the power of this mighty orb as it awakens you and your surroundings to the energy of the new day?

Here's how to achieve this, with one simple addition to the Infinite Being Meditation technique:

On each in-breath, visualize white light, representing life energy from the Sun, coming into your body via your nostrils. See this white light as filling your entire body every time you inhale.

This fills your whole being with extra life energy because air is a carrier medium for etheric energy. Etheric energy is highly responsive to directed mental pressure so, once the air is inside your lungs, the power of your visualization can be used to direct the life energy to fill your entire body. The energy will automatically follow your mental direction.

Here is the Infinite Being Meditation technique, revised to include the life energy charging technique:

1. Focus your attention on the slow, even flow of breath as it passes in and out of your nostrils.

2. Visualize each in-breath as white light filling your body. Then, at the top of each in-breath, mentally repeat once the affirmation "I am Infinite Being."

3. On the out-breath, allow your attention to follow the flow of air from your nostrils. To induce an immediate calming effect, slow each out-breath and allow it to take longer than each in-breath.

4. Hold the breath out of the body for a short time. In this quiet space, don't think, just be. Become quietly aware of thoughts and impressions that may arise from your inner self. The end of each breath cycle thus becomes your personal communion space with your inner being.

5. Return to active intention by starting the breath cycle again at step 1.

Start your twenty-minute meditation and charging session each day, ten minutes before dawn. If dawn is at, say, approximately 7:10 am, then you would plan to start your day with meditation from 7:00 - 7:20 am. Reorganize your daily schedule around the most important natural event of the day. The deeper connection to nature is well worth the effort. At least once a week, check when sunrise occurs by referring to the news media, or to weather sites such as weather.com. Then you can be in tune with the greatest cosmic forces of revitalization that occur each and every day.

Make meditation at dawn your number one priority of the day. Then everything that follows will be more energized and more in tune with who you really are.

Energetically, the highlight of every day is dawn. It is truly a magical time.

Are You a Cultural Creative? ~ Owen K Waters

Are You a Cultural Creative?

by Owen K Waters

The Shift to the New Reality is real, and it has been gathering steam since the 1960s.

In "The Cultural Creatives," Paul Ray and Sherry Anderson detail a comprehensive study of more than 100,000 adults in the United States. They found that, since the 1960s, a huge 26 percent of these adults have made a comprehensive shift in their culture - their worldview, values and way of life. A 1997 survey conducted in fifteen European countries shows that the figures are highly similar in Europe. The following is a summary of the typical values of this new culture.

Cultural Creatives love nature, respect the Earth and are deeply concerned about the environment. They like to develop close relationships with each other, and to help and encourage other people to develop their abilities. They care about personal and spiritual development, and want more equality for women and all cultural groups.

Cultural Creatives would like to develop a new way of life. They are cynical of media-fed information, and want to find a new political philosophy that works in today's reality. They are not materialistically driven, and typically have their finances and spending under control. They like traveling to other countries to get to know new cultures and they want to develop a sense of community where they live. Authenticity is important to Cultural Creatives; that their actions are consistent with their words and inner beliefs.

In the early 1960s, there were too few Cultural Creatives to measure in surveys. At that time, American culture was split evenly between two cultural groups - the Moderns and the Traditionals. Moderns reflect an ethic which actually goes back as far as the Renaissance, when European Protestantism freed the population to pursue a self-empowered work ethic rather than continue to give their power, freedom and sense of initiative away to authority figures.

The ethic of Modernism is that newer, bigger and faster are all better. Time is money, they believe, and people with more knowledge and wealth are perceived as having higher status. Almost half of American adults today are Moderns. Their self-empowered principles over the centuries have brought progress to civil freedoms, democracy, justice and equality. Moderns tend to believe that theirs is the only way and reject the values of other groups as being incorrect.

The positive contributions of Moderns can be appreciated when you consider the quality of life which existed before the Renaissance. At birth, in those days, your fate was sealed. You were born into a certain social, ethnic and racial group at a certain location. You would likely never travel more than 50 miles from your birthplace during your life. What work you could perform, and whom you would marry, were predetermined. You would be compelled to believe certain doctrines, as dictated by rulers, priests and elders.

Traditionals are the ones who historically react against the changes brought about by Moderns. They wish for a return to an older, simpler time, and they oppose modern trends such as equality for women. They believe that patriarchs should again dominate family life, that men should be proud to serve in the military, and that their moral values should be forced upon others. In post-World War II America, Traditionals formed half of the adult population. Today they number less than one-fourth of the adult population. Many have passed away, while some have converted into becoming Moderns or Cultural Creatives.

Within the Cultural Creatives are two distinct sub-groups. Almost half of the Cultural Creatives form a Core Group of more intense, leading-edge thinkers. The others are the Green Cultural Creatives, whose focus is directed externally, towards ecology and environmental issues, rather than towards inner personal development.

The trend-setting Core Group is typically into alternative health care, often as health care practitioners, and most of them want to develop more inner self-awareness. They shun the materialism of the Moderns and the intolerance of the Traditionals toward other peoples.

Cultural Creatives cross all types of demographic groupings. They can be of any adult age category, they can live anywhere, and have any spiritual or religious affiliation. Less than ten percent of them identify themselves as New Age. Interestingly, there are just as many New Agers within the ranks of the Moderns as there are within the Cultural Creatives. The ratio of women to men is fairly equal in the Greens Group, while the Core Group contains 67 percent women. Many of the New Age Moderns are men who are still chasing the boys' toys of modern technology and haven't yet settled down to finding a deeper meaning within themselves.

Compared to other groups, Cultural Creatives read more books and magazines. Half of them are regular book buyers. They watch less television and are particularly unhappy with the quality of television news. They support, and become involved in, the arts. They like well-made, durable products, natural food, personal growth and alternative health care. They have a holistic attitude; that body, mind and spirit should work together. Their homes may well be buffered for privacy by old-growth trees and large shrubs. Inside, these homes are typically decorated by craft pieces, books and original art pieces which have special meaning to them.

Their culture is one of silent trailblazing. Most of them have no idea that there are countless millions of people just like them with the same values and lifestyle. When they discover that 25 percent of the adult population are just like them, they are truly shocked and surprised.

Cultural Creatives, it could be said, are the silent revolution. Imagine how much more transformative their effect on society will be when they evolve into networking, voicing their values and forming representative movements.

Cultural Creatives are a newly emerging type of humanity. They hold the seeds of a new, sustainable culture, a culture where "quality of life" replaces "standard of living."

Your True, Inner Self ~ Owen K Waters

Your True, Inner Self.

by Owen K Waters

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter

Your inner self is your complete self. Often referred to as your soul or higher self, your inner self includes all aspects of your consciousness as an individual.

Your inner self encompasses all levels of your consciousness - subconscious, superconscious and waking consciousness. You can think of your waking consciousness as an "outer self," because it's function is to focus upon a world which has the appearance of being external. The human brain is designed to translate the concepts of space and time into something that appears real. Your outer self's focus is directed at the physical world, which it perceives through the five physical senses.

People habitually think of their soul as being something elsewhere, and not something that encompasses their waking consciousness. They also think of the world as being "out there" rather than what it really is - an internal projection of theatrical props which make life appear to be a real drama.

It is more useful to use the term "inner self" to describe the complete self because, compared to the external world, it appears to be inside of you.

When you look at the reality of life, everything is inside of you. As a spark of Infinite Being, the entire universe is inside of you because the universe was created within the consciousness of Infinite Being. The definition of "Infinite Being" is "consciousness which encompasses all." Nothing can be outside of an all-encompassing consciousness, therefore all must be within and, as an aspect of Infinite Being, it is within you.

Before you were born, you carefully planned the possibilities for this incarnation. Your inner self had access to all of the probabilities which would unfold in your current life, thus enabling you to make a life plan. You examined several possible lives and chose this one for the experiences that it would let you explore.

Think of your inner self as a nonphysical, spiritual personality which chose to enter your body at the time of birth. Gradually, over a period of months, your conscious mind formed a greater attachment to this new body and eventually became completely identified with it.

The current system of incarnation on earth involves spiritual amnesia - we are born with blank physical memories as part of the challenge of reconnecting with our spiritual essence during physical incarnation. That system will change in the coming centuries as human consciousness rises to new challenges and opportunities but, in the meantime, it still provides a fresh start to every incarnation that we choose to experience.

Each incarnation occurs in different locations and historical times, with different sets of parents and societal environments. This creates the opportunity for you to play many roles as different personalities. Your inner nature does shine through into your outer personality as an influence, but the variety provided by different incarnations is enormous. Imagine, over the last two thousand years, experiencing incarnations as a centurion defending Rome against the barbarians, then a quiet life as a peasant farmer's wife in Spain, then plying the Mediterranean trade routes as first mate on a spice ship, then as an English nun and finally a talk show host. Now that's variety!

Personalities vary from life to life because of the societal environment in which they are formed. Shining through that outer personality, however, is the real you, your spiritual inner self. The wisdom of knowing how to handle a challenge often comes from the inner knowing gained from the experience of countless lifetimes.

You can get in touch with your inner self if you take the time to simply go within using a meditation technique such as the Infinite Being meditation (see below).

In that contemplative state, ask yourself what it feels like when you get in touch with your inner self. How does life look when seen from its perspective? How does it feel to be connected to that part of you which is, in turn, consciously connected to the entire universe? How does it feel to live beyond the confines of space and time?

Words like freedom, expansion, joy and harmony spring to life while you are in the presence of your true, spiritual self.

Your inner self is eternal. It can never cease to exist, any more than Infinite Being can cease to exist. This eternal part of you has wisdom and love beyond the confines of any single incarnation. Feel the security of knowing this eternal part of yourself. While you are in the conscious presence of your inner self, see how meaningful the affirmation from the Infinite Being meditation becomes:

"I am Infinite Being."

Love and Light to the World ~ Owen K Waters

Love and Light to the World.

by Owen K Waters

January 20, 2019

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter
Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

We live in times of crisis, chaos, and opportunity for growth.
Looked at a different way, you could say we live in interesting times. In fact, the rate of change of many things in the world today has sped up to an almost bewildering degree.
Even the long-established tide of events leading to a carefully controlled new world order has come to a shuddering halt, wondering which way to turn next. There will eventually be a one-world order, but it will be a cooperative utopia based upon freedom of creativity, beauty and inspiration, not a thought-controlled dystopia like in George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”

Amid the push and tug of contemporary conflicts, our future is being formed in a way that is functionally more democratic than any political system ever could be. It is being formed in a place in which we all share, yet most people are unaware even of its existence. That place is called the mind belt.
The mind belt is the mental atmosphere of human thought and feeling that surrounds the planet. Our subconscious minds are immersed in it; our superconscious minds are fully aware of it, yet our conscious minds rarely even glimpse its existence. Even so, our minds share in its atmosphere and we feed it with our own thoughts and feelings just like everyone else.

Let’s stop and think for a moment. Is it better to feed the global mind atmosphere with thoughts of anger, fear and desperation, or is it better to offer something more inspirational as our donation to the world’s mind belt?
The question hardly needs answering. As lightworkers we know how to raise our consciousness. While others spend their energy in anger and hate or in scheming to gain more power at the expense of others, we know that the future lies in the next step up the ladder of awareness, which is heart-centered consciousness.
The question is, how do you avoid being pulled down into the mire of human conflict when you want to create a state of harmony for yourself and others?
I’m so glad you asked… 🙂
Here is a technique you can use to create an enlightened space of consciousness for yourself and heal the world at the same time. It is called the Love and Light Technique.
The Love and Light Technique
Several times a day – whenever the need arises – take a pause to refresh your state of consciousness. Any time you get the chance to enter a quiet space within for a few moments without distraction, you can begin by focusing on your breath.
Imagine, with each in-breath, the air you breathe in is filled with brilliant, energy-charged light. Breathe this light energy into the heart area in the center of your chest.
Then, on each out-breath, mentally focus on the words,
“Love and light to the world.”
Breathe in light, then let it out into the world, conditioned with the intention of love and light. Repeat at least twice more… and many more times when you can.
Do your part to fill the world with love and light. It changes your own state of consciousness and it helps heal the world in these desperate times of crisis.
With crisis comes opportunity. The opportunity to become who you really are, to manifest your soul’s true mission in life.
This is what we lightworkers are here to do. To change the world. The Love and Light Technique empowers your ability to help humanity, to usher in theNew Reality of love, light, and freedom of the spirit.

The Nature of the Dreamstate ~ Owen K Waters

The Nature of the Dreamstate.

by Owen K Waters

Spiritual Dynamics Newsletter
Spiritual Growth, Vitality and Wellness

Upon going to sleep at night, your two etheric bodies rise up together and hover a few feet above your physical body.
What? TWO etheric bodies?
Yes. No doubt, you are familiar with the concept of an astral or spirit body which leaves your physical body while it sleeps at night. But there is also another, more dense etheric body, one which is more closely aligned with the frequency of the physical body.
The following is an excerpt from the material in our upcoming Spiritual Metaphysics course, which will enable you to master the key laws and principles behind all things in the universe.
The etheric body
This is the energy body that powers the physical body’s needs for universal life energy, which is also known as etheric energy, prana or chi. When science masters this primary form of energy, this will lead to technological innovations that will dwarf everything that electrical science and electronics have ever achieved.

The etheric body acts as a battery for life energy. Whenever the constant needs of your physical body deplete its energy reserves, you feel the need for sleep. During sleep, the etheric body floats in the air above the physical body, recharging itself from the etheric life energy which fills all space.
This is energy that the Sun deposits into the atmosphere during the daylight hours. When your etheric body’s recharge has been completed some hours later, you will no longer feel the need for more sleep. Conversely, whenever your etheric body reserve of etheric life energy is highly depleted, you feel a strong need for sleep so that recharging can take place.
Notice how Seasonal Affective Disorder occurs during cloud-covered winter seasons and produces lower mental, emotional, and physical energy in a person. This is because the daytime influx of etheric energy from our primary source of light the Sun collects mainly above the cloud barrier, providing less ambient energy at ground level. The shortfall can be made up by the use of bright, full-spectrum lighting in the daytime or evening. This is because light consists of, not just electric and magnetic energy, but also life-giving etheric energy.

Astral adventures
Once your etheric and spirit bodies have left their physical shell, your spirit body then rolls out of sync with your etheric body, leaving your etheric body parked above your physical body. With your awareness now focused in your spirit body, you can travel around in the 3D physical world or, more likely, be attracted up into the light of the spirit body’s natural home environment in the 4D spirit (or ‘astral’) realms.

Upon waking, if you feel a close connection to a beloved friend who has passed on into the 4D afterlife, that is a typical sign that you were in contact with them during the deeper out-of-body sleep states.
Recall of your travels in the deeper sleep states isn’t so easy, but what might be termed the dreamstate is much closer to physical consciousness and therefore easier to recall.
The dreamstate
The dreamstate occurs in the lighter levels of sleep, especially before waking in the morning, when your spirit body has returned from its travels and is parked back in sync with your etheric body.
The dreamstate is like an echo chamber in which the subconscious mind can play. In the dreamstate, all the stresses of the day work themselves out using forms of symbolism for the exercise. Hence, the sometimes wacky, illogical nature of recalled dreams. The subconscious mind is rather like the mind of a very young child. It throws up dramas with very little intellectual rationality, just to release stress and blow off steam.

The deeper levels of sleep, in which the spirit body is free to roam, are higher consciousness levels of operation. In these states, you are also in deeper contact with your soul mind and can see the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in your life.
You then plan for these upcoming events in order to stay aligned with the life objectives that you planned before you were born into this life. With each new physical incarnation, amnesia about your plans comes with the package just to make the adventure more interesting, but your soul stays in constant awareness of your purpose and your progress throughout your life.
