The Power of Magnesium For Your Body ~ Anna Kucirkova

The Power of Magnesium For Your Body.

Ah, magnificent magnesium! It’s often referred to as the “neglected mineral you cannot live without.” More fascinating health benefits of magnesium are being discovered each year, along with uncovering the many adverse body conditions for lack of magnesium.
It’s crucial to maintain a certain level of magnesium in the body since this naturally-occurring element is vital for scores of functions related to human health. Magnesium deficiency can be a source of health issues ranging from mild to severe.
Among other things, magnesium helps control blood pressure. It maintains a steady heart rhythm and aids in keeping the bones strong. In blood sugar management, magnesium is a regulating mineral. Magnesium also helps preserve healthy muscle and nerve function. Some people find they get more restful sleep because of magnesium.

How Magnesium Works

Compelling data has been discovered in recent years highlighting connections between physiological pathways and magnesium. Research reveals as many as 300 functions of magnesium as an important cofactor for enzymes - to create cellular energy, regulate concentrations of other minerals, and to repair and protect proteins and DNA.

The energy-storage molecules in our bodies called ATP (adenosine triphosphate) can’t function without magnesium! One professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center explains that magnesium deficiency shuts down the Vitamin D synthesis and metabolism pathway.

Magnesium’s Link to Our Diet, Habits, and Diseases

Given the popularity of avocados, dark chocolate, and almonds in today’s menus, you would think that everyone should have plenty of magnesium in their diet. But the National Institutes of Health reports that “Dietary surveys of people in the United States consistently show that intakes of magnesium are lower than recommended amounts.”
While it is possible to eat enough foods rich in magnesium to stay healthy, the majority of people do not. What are the most common reasons for widespread magnesium deficiency? A dietary intake of magnesium that’s too low is obvious, and that’s often due to poor eating habits. But a poor diet is only one consideration.
In addition to eating too little magnesium, there are particular conditions or diseases that increase the possibility of magnesium deficiency. Alcohol use, too much sugar or caffeine, lack of sleep, excessive sweating, chronic diarrhea, conditions related to diabetes or acute kidney failure, high blood calcium level, celiac, IBS, malnutrition, and certain medications - any of these could lead to low magnesium levels.

What Happens When Magnesium is Too Low?

A genuine deficiency may not become obvious until magnesium levels are very low. Some signs that you may be deficient in magnesium include:The medical condition is technically called hypomagnesemia. The number of people who definitely have this ailment is actually quite low (less than 2% of Americans), but studies indicate that half to three-quarters of the US population isn’t reaching the amount of daily magnesium from food that’s recommended for optimum health.

  • Muscle twitches and cramps
  • Mental disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Osteoporosis
  • Fatigue
  • High blood pressure
  • Asthma
  • Kidney problems
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Muscle weakness
  • Muscle twitches, tremors, and cramps
  • In worst case scenarios, seizures or convulsions
Unfortunately, magnesium deficiency is often misdiagnosed since the symptoms can mimic a plethora of other medical problems. If you suspect magnesium may be part of the health issues you have, you should bring it up with your physician. Your doctor can order a simple blood test, similar to other blood tests, to determine your current magnesium level.
You definitely don’t want to consume too much magnesium (since that’s also unhealthy), but it’s well worth investigating the lack of magnesium signs and symptoms you may have experienced. A shortage of magnesium could be to blame for other physical symptoms that aren’t on this list.

How Much is Enough?

useful chart from the Linus Pauling Institute (a research institute with a focus on health maintenance) helps spell out daily magnesium recommended intakes for adults, based on their age and sex.
As a general rule, it’s a little over 300 mg per day for women and about 400 mg per day for men. The need for magnesium rises somewhat as we age. Children require far less magnesium than adults, but their need for it begins to increase at puberty.

Best Foods for Magnesium Intake

magnesium foods
Similar to other minerals and vitamins, it’s best to acquire the bulk of your magnesium in the diet by making good food choices, and then add supplements if it’s medically determined to be necessary for your health. The chart mentioned above clearly indicates that no one should be getting more than 350 mg of magnesium per day just from supplements, as that amount is considered the upper limit the human body can safely tolerate.
It comes as no surprise that the foods naturally rich in magnesium are already promoted for their excellent health properties. You could probably venture a guess as to which foods are on this list! Dark leafy greens, whole grains, bananas, legumes (which includes beans of all varieties, lentils, chickpeas, etc.), dark chocolate, seeds, nuts, avocados, and certain types of fatty fish like salmon, halibut and mackerel are among the best choices for providing dietary magnesium.

What if Dietary Magnesium Isn’t Enough?

Magnesium supplements, when you need them, come in various forms. The absorption of magnesium from different types of supplements varies, and there are also some distinctions in what they are best for treating. Ones that dissolve well in liquid are more completely absorbed in the digestive tract.

Dr. Laurie Steelsmith, a naturopathic physician who has appeared on CNN’s “HealthWatch”, Fox and NBC news affiliates, describes the popular types of magnesium supplements:
  1. Magnesium chloride - Perhaps the most popular magnesium supplement on the market, is argued to be the most effective form.  It organically encourages sleep, digestion, bone health and a sense of calm (both mental and physical). That said, supplementing with this form of magnesium may cause diarrhea.
  1. Magnesium sulfate - Otherwise known as Epsom salts, magnesium sulfate has long been a boon for athletes - or, really, anyone with sore muscles; it’s also widely known for its laxative effects.
  1. Magnesium citrate - derived from citric acid. With excellent bioavailability (the efficacy with which a substance is absorbed and used by the body) it’s one of the most highly recommended magnesium supplements. Often used to naturally support digestion, it’s also easy on the wallet. However, it may lead to dehydration (and imbalance of minerals that arrives with this) in that it pulls water into the intestines.
  1. Magnesium oxide - With lower levels of bioavailability, it scores only 4 percent, while magnesium citrate has a bioavailability of 90 percent. It’s found in Milk of Magnesia and similar products, and, as such, organically encourages improved digestion.
  1. Magnesium glycinate - Feeling stressed? This may be the form for you. While magnesium in its many different forms has been shown to naturally support muscle relaxation, magnesium glycinate might just take the cake (note: the amino acid glycine is known for the calming impact it can have on the mind and body). Additionally, it has optimum bioavailability and, unlike some of its kin, isn’t known for its laxative properties.
  1. Magnesium orotate - Those searching for supplements that may organically encourage heart health might give this type a try. With its inclusion of orotic acid (formerly known as B13), it’s also a favorite among athletes, given that it may naturally support the repair of tissues, as well as enhanced stamina and performance. Magnesium orotate often comes with a heftier price tag.
  1. Magnesium L-threonate - Dubbed a “breakthrough” supplement, magnesium L-threonate possesses good bioavailability but also the potential to improve cognitive functions, with the National Institutes of Health reporting that memory deficits - particularly short term memory loss caused by chronic pain - may be just one of the potential benefits of this form of magnesium.

Magnesium Oil as an Alternative

If you’re among those people who have difficulty absorbing magnesium internally, you might find that applying magnesium topically (on the skin) is more effective, or you could alternate between topical and internal approaches.
Although described as an oil, magnesium oil is actually a mixture of magnesium chloride flakes and water. When combined, the liquid that results has an oily feel, but isn’t technically an oil. When this is applied or sprayed onto the skin, it may be able to raise magnesium levels within the body. Some stand by this method to treat magnesium deficiency, promote relaxation, relieve muscle aches and as a remedy for headaches.
Searching the internet for a magnesium oil spray recipe yields thousands of results. It’s a very simple blend. You can order a bottle online, or better yet, make it yourself using this recipe from wellnessmama.com:
DIY Magnesium Oil Spray Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup magnesium chloride flakes
1/2 cup distilled water
a glass bowl or glass measuring cup
a glass spray bottle (this is the one in the picture above)

Instructions
Boil the distilled water. It is important to use distilled to extend the shelf life of the mixture.
Place the magnesium chloride flakes in the glass bowl or measuring cup and the pour the boiling water over it.
Stir well until completely dissolved. Let cool completely and store in the spray bottle. Can be stored at room temperature for at least six months.
Note: Wellnessmama uses magnesium oil before bedtime and often adds 10 drops of lavender essential oil to the mixture for scent and relaxation.

Give it a Shot

magnesium
If you'd like to try Magnesium but are unsure which type to try we recommend our Magnesium L-Threonate, which provides all of the benefits of other magnesium supplements while being the only one shown to improve cognitive function.

So whether you’re investigating new approaches with your doctor to pressing health problems like the use of magnesium for hypertension or Type 2 diabetes, seeking relief from anxiety, hoping to eliminate muscle cramps, or simply need nights of more restful sleep, upping your intake of magnificent magnesium could be a significant part of improving your overall health.

8 CBT Techniques for Anxiety That Will Calm Your Anxious Mind

8 CBT Techniques for Anxiety That Will Calm Your Anxious Mind.

By Janey Davies.

May 10th, 2019.

If you’re reading this, it stands to reason that you are feeling anxious and are looking for tools such as CBT techniques to calm your anxiety.

Anxiety is a particularly devious beast.

It’s there for a reason, to give us the necessary fight or flight tools we need to survive. But if it gets out of control, it can restrict our lives and cause us more harm than good.

The problem with anxiety is that it easily escalates. Fear breeds fear. The more we worry something bad will happen, the more we convince ourselves it is likely to happen. We have set ourselves up to fail before we’ve even started.

We might start avoiding certain situations. However, although we may feel immediate relief by avoidance, we never learn that whatever we are afraid of isn’t actually that bad.

But you know what? When you are in the grip of a phobia, stuck in a repeating cycle of OCD, or suffering from social anxiety, it’s hard to be rational. And this is where cognitive behavioural therapy or CBT techniquescan help, no matter what type of anxiety you are experiencing.

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Franklin D. Roosevelt

FDR was right on the money about fear, but how can CBT techniques help us when we are crippled by anxiety?
8 CBT techniques for anxiety that will calm an anxious mind:
Our thoughts make us anxious

The first thing to recognise about anxiety is that external factors are not making you anxious, your internal thoughts are. And if your inner thoughts are causing the problem, you can change the way you think about the situation.

Of course, this isn’t easy. We trust our brains to deliver the right information quickly so we can go about our business. So it can be hard to realise that our thoughts are giving us the wrong messages.

The first step in CBT therapy is understanding how our thoughts are responsible for the way we feel. There is nothing in everyday normal life to feel anxious about. The only thing that is making you anxious is you. But, you can change that.
Thoughts can’t hurt you

You’re having a panic attack and you feel as you’re going to die. In a social situation, a person with social anxiety might think they’re going to collapse. Someone with OCD might feel so stressed about checking or counting they feel physically sick.

How do we get to such extreme physical symptoms from a single thought? Because we’ve programmed ourselves to have an automatic reaction to the stressful situation. Our thoughts tumble out of our minds with no chance of stopping and escalate into a full-blown panic attack.

But think – thoughts cannot hurt you. Look around you now. Focus on a book or a lamp and say to yourself “Oh my God if I look at that book, I’ll faint.” No amount of you thinking it will make it happen.

The next time you feel anxious, remember: just because you think it, it doesn’t mean you can make it happen.
Don’t set yourself up to fail

What’s the difference between a person with driving phobia and someone who drives without anxiety? The person who drives normally doesn’t think about driving before they set off.

Someone with the driving phobia will already be worrying about the journey, what will happen, what could go wrong, will they get lost, have an accident, or will they have a panic attack?

Now think about the driver who didn’t have anxiety. What do you think would happen if he or she started thinking the same thoughts as the anxious driver?

The chances are that the once confident driver could now start to feel a little anxious about driving. But the roads haven’t changed, nor has the car they are driving. Only their thoughts. Don’t forget, your thoughts are responsible, not external factors.

Be rational and logical

Time to think like Spock. When you are in a stressful situation, your mind starts racing and is out of control. The best way to stop this is to take a step back and think rationally. It helps if you look at the situation from another perspective or another person’s point of view.

Let’s take that driving example again. For every worrying thought that crops up, look at it in a rational manner as if you were talking to a friend.

What if you did get lost? Do you have a sat nav or a map? What if you do break down? Do you have breakdown cover? Identify what you feel is dangerous about the situation and look at it calmly and rationally.

Ask yourself ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’

What for you is the worst thing that could happen? If you get anxious during interviews, what do you fear the most?

Not being able to answer a question? Do you feel trapped in a social situation that you can’t escape from? Are you worried you’ll have a panic attack on an aeroplane?

Identify your worst fear and then examine it logically. No one has died from a panic attack. Panic attacks end. Yes, they are extremely horrible, but you are safe, you are not in danger.

Talk to yourself and reassure yourself about the thing you are most afraid of. By analysing them in a logical way, you take their power away.

Start taking small steps

So, you know that your thoughts are making you anxious and that they cannot hurt you. The next way to beat your anxiety with CBT techniques is to start taking small steps that will build up your confidence in the situation you find stressful.

The best way to tackle this is to make a ladder with the small steps at the bottom that cause you some anxiety but you can do, and goals at the top that cause you extreme anxiety and you cannot do.

The way to work through the ladder is to start at the bottom and go through each step until you are bored with it. Only then do you move onto the next step. Most importantly, reward yourself after each step to reinforce a positive emotion with your success.

Be patient and kind to yourself

If you have suffered from a phobia or anxiety for years or decades, remember that these CBT techniques won’t work overnight. Your brain has been programmed to feel anxiety.

You have learned over the years that a certain situation is dangerous. Now your brain has to unlearn all the lessons you gave it. This takes time, patience and endurance.

Remember, you may have setbacks as well as good weeks. Don’t expect your progress to be without a few bumps here and there. But reward any small victories and don’t downplay your successes.

Remember, what’s easy for some is really hard for you. It is also very easy to slip into a ‘Why me?’ way of thinking but this doesn’t help in the long run. Of course, lots of people have got it easier than you, but equally, a lot more have it much harder.

If all else fails, act normal

It helps to remember that anxiety is a natural response to stress. As a result, adrenalin rushes through our bodies preparing us to fight or flight. Blood is drawn away from areas such as the stomach (we don’t need to digest food in an emergency situation) and directed to the legs and arms for running or fighting.

One way to train our brains that anxiety is an incorrect response is to do something that lets the brain know adrenalin is not required.

For example, I remember being in the middle of a panic attack and my friend said something ridiculous which made me laugh. All the anxiety dissipated because my laughter informed my brain there was nothing to be afraid of.

It is hard to stop being frightened, but try having open body posture, smiling, talking calmly, and breathing slowly. Even chewing a piece of gum will help as it redirects blood back to the stomach.

Being in the grip of an anxious episode is extremely frightening. However, remember that you are in control of your thoughts, and by using these CBT techniques, it is possible to calm your anxiety.

Essential Oils for Focus, Productivity and Cognitive Functions

Essential Oils for Focus, Productivity and Cognitive Functions.

By Guest Author.

May 10th, 2019

essential oils for focus.

Did you know that essential oils can help you boost your cognitive functions, such as focus and memory, and improve your productivity?
In the modern, hectic world that we inhabit, many of us will have had moments in our day where our frame of mind does not match what is needed at the time. It could be the feeling of ‘fogginess’ in the first few hours of the morning once we have risen from our slumber, or the afternoon sluggishness felt after a heavy lunch.
Either way, your mind simply refuses to get into the correct gear required. For some, this can seriously hinder the productivity of a day at work, or in the more serious cases, affect someone’s mental wellbeing in the long term.
We all want to be productive, and we all want to be able to relax too when the time is right. So how can we give ourselves the best chance of achieving these goals? Well, essential oils can certainly help boost your focus and other cognitive functions.
For those who are new to the world of essential oils, one of the key aspects of their appeal is the fact that they are totally natural. Also knows as volatile and ethereal oils, essential oils are obtained from their specific plant by distillation, most often using steam.
Products that often contain them are perfumes, soaps, and other cosmetics. Due to the fact they are derived from a whole plethora of different plants, they have some very different effects.
While one may invigorate, another may make the user feel a sense of relaxation. Because of this, it is important to make sure you know which oil is most likely to garner the required effect.

Boosting your focus with essential oils

For those looking to get their brain into a more focused state, there are essential oils available that will help you do just that.
Feeling a little frazzled in the morning? Simply add a few drops of lemon or peppermint to your oil diffuser, let the fragrance fill the room, and see how your concentration manifests. If lemon or peppermint isn’t your thing, there are countless other options out there for those who would prefer a different fragrance.
Amongst the more popular options are frankincense, rosemary, or clary sage, so if you find one flavour a little overpowering, simply move onto another and see if it suits you better.
Such is the sheer volume of essential oils on the market, finding one that helps you focus and is also appealing to your sense of smell is all part of the fun.

Sleeping well helps you work well

Once your working day is done, you may find it difficult to unwind in the hours before you go to bed. This, in turn, can lead to a bad night’s sleep and difficulties concentrating when back at the office the next day.
Many of us have trouble ‘switching off’ in the evenings, partly due to hectic work-lives and partly due to issues with modern phenomena such as mobile phone and tablet usage. If you fall into this category, essential oils can yet again be the answer to your problems.
Oils such as cedar wood can help you unwind naturally, letting your stresses and strains melt away, and allowing you to fall into a relaxing and beneficial slumber.
Other oils such as lavender can also help you fall asleep faster, while many users have also reported that some oils can even help those of us who suffer from the dreaded and much-maligned problem of snoring.
If you are finding yourself drained and tired throughout the working week, start to address this problem by making sure you are getting enough rest.

Tired and forgetful? Essential oils might help

Another issue that plenty of us suffer from, especially as we get older, is memory loss. Now, serious memory loss can be a symptom of something quite serious, but if you are simply finding yourself becoming a little forgetful during your workday.
At least one experiment conducted by the University of Northumbria found that rosemary can have a positive effect on people over 65 years of age in regards to their memory function. Other tests have shown evidence that rosemary could stimulate brain tissue due to various compounds found within the plant itself.
This shouldn’t be taken as a ‘complete fix’ for memory loss (especially if it is severe or degenerative), but rather a useful tool for tasks that may require you to be a little more ‘on the ball’ when it comes to recalling information.
Pair the use of rosemary with a healthy diet of fatty fish (full of wonderful Omega 3 oils which are known to aid the building of brain and nerve cells), and you should be well on your way to boosting your memory.
At the very least, you will put yourself in the best position to improve your performance in this particular department.

Essential oils are another string to your bow

It should be said that essential oils are not a ‘one size fits’ all miracle cure. Instead, these wonderfully useful oils should be used in conjunction with other tactics, to achieve the desired results.
If you have trouble sleeping, cutting out alcohol and sugars before bed garners huge benefits, while essential oils could be the icing on the cake for giving yourself the restful recuperation you need.
Different oils have vastly different properties, so if you are new to the essential oils game, grab yourself a few tester bottles, and see just how useful each of these oils can be.
Having a selection at your disposal means that you can adjust the oil to suit your needs hour by hour. Wake up with some peppermint, add a few drops of rosemary in your diffuser during the day, and when it comes to bedtime, move into cedar wood territory.
Pairing these essential oils with a healthy lifestyle, eating well, and exercising should put you in the best possible position to counter any issues like poor focus or memory loss. This, in turn, will help you work more effectively and efficiently.

It is time to begin loving yourself.

Yes, many of you say, “I love me” but, saying it and feeling it within are two different things.

Look closely, my beautiful child, and ask yourself why you are unable to/afraid to love.

Is it something you heard in your past or a situation that made you feel ‘less than’?

You have made great leaps and bounds in that direction…now it is time to start embracing it!

If it feels uncomfortable to you, start small; take time to appreciate the little thing that make you who you are.

Forgive yourself for your ‘not so nice’ moments and know that, regardless of what has happened, you are making a new now.

Two Extreme Thoughts. ~ Thought Adjuster, Oscar.

Two Extreme Thoughts.

Teacher: Thought Adjuster

Message received by Oscar.

Alabama, USA, April 9, 2013.

Posted 2019/05/10

Translated from Spanish by Silvia Adriana Cohane.

Thought Adjuster: “There are two extreme thoughts regarding religion. At one extreme, you find those who don’t believe in anything. They are the ones who have rebelled against the deceptions and manipulations of the institutional religions of the past and, for this reason, they reject everything that sounds ‘spiritual’. Many of them have a materialistic vision and refuse to use faith as a way to overcome the limitations of their human perception.

“At the other extreme you can find those who are trapped in traditional religions. They are the ones who believe in everything half way and do not question anything. Their religious leaders easily manipulate them and they hold to their beliefs sometimes with violence, without leaving any room for doubt or for new and improved considerations and interpretations of the truths they so earnestly defend.

“Neither of these extremes will ever provide a complete vision of reality. Those who do not believe would see how their lives, their mental health, their relationships and the way in which they see their world, could benefit from a little faith. They obstinately reject any possibility of discovering something beyond matter and they deny their own experiences of spiritual awakening. Those who are victims of religious fanaticism would find that some of the skepticism of their non-believer peers would be helpful, because they would get an opportunity to question those traditions and beliefs that, even being a part of their religions, are not an adequate expression of divine goodness.

“However, many people in your world are somewhere in the middle between these two extremes. They are the ones who must decide to dedicate their lives to the search for truth or simply let their days pass into oblivion without growing or progressing in the understanding of their lives, their true being, and their destiny. For all light workers, this segment of the population represents the best opportunity to exert a positive influence with their examples and their lives. We are not suggesting that you should forget your siblings in the extremes, but once a human being has made a decision about their beliefs and what is considered to be the truth, this decision cannot be easily changed, unless that person has an open mind to accept changes and make adjustments to his or her concept of reality. Neither eloquent persuasion, nor force can effectively change a mind that has been set.

“When the Master walked among you in your world, He did everything in His power to answer the questions and satisfy the yearnings of those who showed the slightest interest in their spiritual salvation. He gave himself generously to all who asked, giving them even more than what they asked for. However, He never made the mistake of trying to convince anybody who did not ask for salvation. He knew very well that life and human experiences are the best anvil in which a dynamic and saving faith, that can lead a person towards God, is forged.

“Light workers, your job is not to convince and gain adepts to your movement. Your work is to present a way, show where the gates to spirituality are, and then let everybody do what they need to enter and start enjoying the spiritual fruits that are produced in the battles of faith. In the end, the salvation of a soul is always the responsibility and the task of that soul in particular. A person can destroy or build herself depending on her decisions. Those who achieve perfection will know without a doubt that the glorious enterprise of transforming an almost animal being into an original and faithful expression of God is, and forever will be, a personal achievement, a goal reached by their own efforts by unwavering commitment and the cultivation of an intelligent faith.”

‘SPIRAL TOWER’ IN TEL AVIV THAT LOOKS A LOT LIKE THE TOWER OF BABEL BULT FOR $666 MILLION DOLLARS

‘SPIRAL TOWER’ IN TEL AVIV

THAT LOOKS A LOT LIKE THE TOWER OF BABEL BULT FOR $666 MILLION DOLLARS.

by .

May 9, 2019 by Edward Morgan.

.

Tel Aviv will soon have a very substantial addition to its skyline – a fourth Azrieli Center tower, this time in the shape of a spiral, to join the city’s landmark trio of buildings. Once completed, it is set to be the tallest tower in Israel.

Well now, this is interesting. Construction work has begun on what will be the tallest building in Israel, part of the Azrieli Center in Tel Aviv. The building looks stunningly like a 21st century version of the Tower of Babel from the bible, with the price tag coming in right around $666 million dollars, approximately. Even more interesting is the logo of the Azrieli Group with its large, Masonic capital “G” that intersects with a pyramid topped with a blue capstone. All that’s missing is the number “33” to make the imagery complete. So what to make of all this?
“Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” Genesis 11:9 (KJV)
OK, so it looks like the Tower of Babel, has 91 floors (9/11??), it costs right around $666 million dollars, and the Azrieli Group has a crazy creepy Illuminati and Masonic-themed logo. Hmm. I guess all I can do is put it in a big, fat ‘prophecy pile’ together with Mike Pompeo’s teasing of a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and Jared Kushner, who owns a building at 666  Fifth Ave, that was financed by George Soros, preparing to implement a ‘new and different‘ Middle East peace plan. Is this for real, or did I swallow a ‘Left Behind‘ novel for breakfast this morning?
Things are speeding up quickly now, people, pay close attention or you’re going to miss it.

Tel Aviv to Add Fourth Azrieli Center Tower; Will Be Tallest Building in Israel

FROM THE TOWER: The 91-story spiral tower will be almost 1,150 feet (350 meters) tall and will include commercial, office and residential areas as well as a hotel. The top floors are to house conference rooms, spaces for meetings and entertainment and a 360-degree lookout. A garden and chef restaurant will be on the roof.
Digging and piling work is already underway, and construction is expected to be completed within six or seven years. The total cost of the project is estimated at ₪2.5 billion (over $650 million).
“The architecture of the spiral tower reflects the boldness and creativity of the Azrieli Group, which redefines Tel Aviv’s skyline with each new project,” Azrieli Group Chairwoman Dana Azrieli said at the project’s unveiling on Wednesday.
“THE TOWER WAS PLANNED AND DEVELOPED IN A UNIQUE GEOMETRIC SHAPE, NEVER BEFORE SEEN IN ISRAEL, WHICH CAPTURES THE EYE AND THE IMAGINATION. THE MAIN CHALLENGE FOR THE INITIATORS AND ARCHITECTS WAS TO CREATE HARMONY BETWEEN THE THREE ICONIC TOWERS THAT FORM AZRIELI CENTER AND THE NEW TOWER, AN IMPRESSIVE, ONE-OF-A-KIND STRUCTURE WHICH STANDS ON ITS OWN. THE TOWER’S DESIGN TAKES INSPIRATION FROM THE TWISTS OF A SNAIL’S SHELL, ATTEMPTING TO IMITATE THEIR NATURAL FORM. THE DESIGN ALSO DRAWS INSPIRATION FROM ANCIENT BIBLICAL SCROLLS AND THE WAY THEY UNFURL UPWARDS.” – KPF
“The exceptional financial investment in the project is a testament to our great confidence in the Israeli economy and its growth, and continues the strategy that has led us in building the country for over three decades,” she said.
The spiral tower was designed by the American Kohn Pedersen Fox architecture firm, which has designed five out of the 10 tallest skyscrapers in the world. Israeli firm Moshe Tzur Architects & Town Planners is working with KDF on the project.
The tower’s spiral shape, according to its planners, draws inspiration from the curves of a snail shell. Biblical scrolls were another source of inspiration. Once completed, the new building will unfurl dramatically above the existing circular, triangular and square-shaped Azrieli Center buildings. Those three 50-story buildings, which include a shopping mall, commercial and office space, were completed between 1998 and 2007.
The new tower will expand the Azrieli Center footprint by almost three acres, for a total area of more than 12 acres. The complex will constitute a major transportation hub, connecting the existing Hashalom railway station with the light-rail network now under construction in the Tel Aviv district, as well as the many bus lines.

Developer Azrieli Group Announces Plans To Build ‘Tallest Building’ In Israel – the Spiral Tower

Azrieli Group Revealed Tel Aviv’s Next Icon: “The Spiral Tower” – the Tallest Tower in Israel -The new tower will be part of the Azrieli Center complex, joining the circle, triangle and square towers which have come to be the symbol of the city of Tel Aviv

CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE ~ Kate Spreckley

CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE.

Kate Spreckley's Inspiration.

2019/05/10.

daily inspiration 10 may 2019.

We are being propelled forward by the evolutionary flow of life, which is dissolving the fragmented aspects of this world and our personal perception of reality. Currently we are being attuned to receive massive amounts of cosmic energy. As we process and integrate these energies our perspective shifts revealing more of our divine purpose and how we are being called to assist in the creation of a new Earth reality.

Everything you are experiencing is assisting in liberating your individual and authentic self. As this process unfolds you will come to realize that you cannot build on what is dissolving. Old emotional and mental patterning and programming is emerging to be released. Allow them to surface and dissolve. Do not go into the drama of these emotions or thoughts. Listen for the messages but focus on freeing yourself from them. Reflect on the unlimited possibilities that are available to you now and consciously choose to embark on the new journey laid out before you. You will not be disappointed!

Much love

Kate

CNN, Atlantic now admitting Natural News has been right all along ~ Ethan Huff.

CNN, Atlantic now admitting Natural News has been right all along.

It's incredible. Yesterday, CNN openly admitted that Natural News has been right for reporting the truth that sunscreen chemicals are absorbed through your skin and into your blood, where they cause cancer. Mike Adams.

CNN admits the Health Ranger has been right all along:

Sunscreen chemicals are absorbed into your bloodstream where they can promote cancer.

When the experts congregate to discuss the topic of biosolids safety, one major issue that’s rarely, if ever, brought to the table is the propensity for concentrated sewage sludge – which is what biosolids are, by the way – to become contaminated with radioactive isotopes.
(Natural News) The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), a branch of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has published the results of a pilot study looking at the safety of many common sunscreen products – and what was discovered is that sunscreen chemicals absorb into the bloodstream via the skin in a matter of hours.
As reported by CNN and others, the results of the study, which were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association(JAMA), reveal that, rather than evaporate or wash off, sunscreen chemicals persist and accumulate in people’s bodies through their skin, which is the body’s largest organ.
CDER looked at four common chemicals used in conventional sunscreen products: avobenzone, oxybenzone, ecamsule, and octocrylene. What the agency found is that concentrations of three of them continue to rise inside the body with each subsequent application, and persist there for at least 24 hours after sunscreen use has ceased.
According to the FDA, these four chemicals, as well as eight others that are also commonly used in many sunscreen products, need to be better researched by manufacturers before they can receive the FDA’s coveted designation of being “generally regarded as safe and effective.”
“It’s not news that things that you put on your skin are absorbed into the body,” says Scott Faber, senior vice president for government affairs at the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a consumer advocacy group.
“This study is the FDA’s way of showing sunscreen manufacturers they need to do the studies to see if chemical absorption poses health risks.”

Natural News has been warning about dangerous sunscreen chemicals for more than a decade

As the FDA catches up with the times, it’s important to note that Natural News has been warning the public about the dangers and ineffectiveness of conventional sunscreen products for well over a decade.

As you may recall from back in 2007, we published The Sunscreen Myth, a comprehensive paper and CounterThink cartoon that goes into great detail about why the entire concept behind sunscreen supposedly protecting the skin against cancer is a myth – and the fact that many sunscreen products actually cause cancer.

The Sunscreen Myth also explains how sunscreen chemicals absorb directly through the skin and immediately enter the bloodstream, loading people’s bodies with all sorts of synthetic compounds that may or may not get effectively detoxified and excreted by the liver and other cleansing organs.

Like cigarette advertising from the past that claimed doctors favored smoking, the sunscreen hysteria of today is based on little more than fear-mongering and pseudoscience. Truth be told, our bodies need sunlight in order to generate immune-supportive vitamin D – a pro-hormone nutrient that’s effectively blocked by sunscreen.

“There is no need for sunscreen, but the cancer industry and sunscreen manufacturers have created a fictitious need through a campaign of fear and disinformation, hypnotizing practically the entire population into believing one of the most ridiculous ideas in the universe: that sunlight is bad for human health,” explains The Sunscreen Myth.

“They didn’t run and hide from the sun, they used it as nourishment to generate a crucial vitamin that supports human health in a multitude of ways. The idea that “the sun is bad for you” makes about as much sense as ‘water is bad for you’ or ‘the Earth is flat,'” it adds.

It is also recommended that readers check out “The Trouble with Ingredients in Sunscreen,” put out by EWG as a public educational resource.

We Just Can’t Help It!
It’s January 2016 and it’s that time of year when most of us are all revved up and ready for change — we, the hopefuls, dream of stepping up our game in the new months that are about to unfold. It’s all quite exciting.
Then a few weeks into the new year — well, you know the story — some of us get disillusioned and stumble off that rickety bandwagon. Our hopes, dreams and willpower get kicked to the curb and we continue with the same old same old wondering why every year feels like a sequel to Groundhog Day.
Towards the end of last year, I overheard some folks complaining about people who make new years resolutions and all that ‘blah blah blah’…then I saw a quote on Facebook that made me laugh. I’m paraphrasing here but it went something like, ‘I’m not making any new years resolutions ’cause, let’s face it, who likes a skinny, rich woman?’

I even tried to stay away from making resolutions this year but I just couldn’t resist the pull…
Getting Real…For the Umpteenth Time!
I’m no stranger to the Law of Attraction and positive thinking and I’ve applied them to most sections of my life with great success. However, I also have some areas of my life that I’ve applied them to with little or sporadic success.
What I mean by this is that I can achieve something one month but can’t pull it off the next – it wavers (in this specific arena) and then I begin to doubt myself. And I know I’m not the only one experiencing this.
The last months of 2015 had me catching a huge wake up call.
Positive thinking is fantabulosis. But positive feeling is the vooma that lights that ignition! Some of you have probably heard of this already. I had. A gazillion times before as a matter of fact. I know this and yet I was still deluding myself and avoiding how I was truly feeling about the things I was trying to create.
Introspection and Facing a Hard Reality
My ‘a-ha’ moments with regards to manifesting finances come and go and never seem to ‘stick’. I have huge epiphanies, things go great and then I trip and fall into a rut.
I took a very serious look at my manifesting behaviors over this past year and was quite shocked to see that I was sliding down a slippery slope of limited thinking — falling back into an abyss of past experience that was dictating my future.
So I hopped to it and created a new vision board for myself in December. When I stepped back to look at it it made my eyes hurt. It was all over the place! It was so helter-skelter that I felt like crying. Why? It was such a huge reflection of what was going on in my head.

My brains and ambitions at the end of 2015 felt like watery, scrambled eggs.
Cracking the Shell
I took a long, hard, penetrating look at my life and thoughts and realized that all the positive thinking in the world couldn’t help me if I felt so ‘out of control’ on the inside.
I do positively affirm a lot of things when I wake up and even during the day. I try to steer my thoughts to positive outcomes but I was lacking in one thing. I wasn’t checking in with myself to see if I was truly feeling positive about my situation.
I got real and figured out that even though I have set goals, vision boards, do affirmations — the whole toot — I was not always feeling the outcome. There was still a little lack in my gut (your solar plexus doesn’t lie!). A little twinge to say, ‘you might not (fill in the blank)’.
How did I feel about manifesting enough money for next months bills?
Exhausted. My brain was jet-lagged. I hadn’t really accomplished what I wanted to this year and I felt like I didn’t even know what I wanted for next year. It felt overwhelming and it was reflecting in my vision board
Their is No Space For Doubt
I set to work trying to simplify my board. I got it down to the top 10 things I wanted this year. I stood back this time and felt relief wash over me. I could feel the shift within.
It was as though all the straggling thoughts had been filed neatly for me to gaze upon and the feeling was being upgraded.
I had been too chaotic in my thoughts and it was manifesting in my life through my feelings of being out of control. I was even trying to control how I manifested things. My new board reflected what I wanted and I decided to relinquish how I was going to get it.
Within 2 days of me completing the new and upgraded vision for 2016, I manifested one of the things on that board. It involved me bartering one of my paintings for it but, low and behold, the damn thing was working!
Within a week, I had manifested another thing on my board.
What changed?
I not only do my affirmations every day now but I make myself feel what it’s like to be on that holiday in Italy, sipping red wine and I can feel the wind zipping through my hair as I cycle down the main road on my new mountain bike.
Before I thought I had to concentrate on manifesting money to be able to buy things and experiences but I know now that the universe works in mysterious ways.
I’ve had people give me things that I thought I’d have to buy or spontaneously treat me to dinner or even trade with me for mutually beneficial gain. It’s opened my eyes up to new ways of manifesting and has given me a new hope that this year is going to be epic.

All I have to do is feel it. I hope you get to feel your way to all the things you dream about doing and having!
