6 Types of Moral Dilemmas in Life and How to Resolve Them.

What are moral dilemmas?

Moral dilemmas are situations where an individual has to make a choicebetween two or more clashing options.
These options are often not pleasing to the individual and are usually not truly morally acceptable either. We can identify moral dilemmas by recognising that our actions in these given situations have moral and ethical consequences.
We must choose between which actions to take. However, we may not be happy with any choice, and none of them can be considered fully morally acceptable.
Our first point of order might be to consult any personal moral beliefs or societal ethical and lawful norms in order to resolve such difficulties. Yet, this is often not enough. It may not point towards the best action to take, and it may not even be sufficient in tackling the moral dilemma.
We must find ways of resolving these challenging situations in order to produce the least suffering possible. To do this, it is useful to identify the different types of moral dilemmas that we may find ourselves in.

6 Types of Moral Dilemmas

There are several categories of moral dilemmas within philosophical thought. They can seem complex, but learning the basics of them can help identify them and mould a solution for them:

Epistemic moral dilemmas

‘Epistemic’ means to do with the knowledge of something. This is what this dilemma is about.
The situation involves two moral choices that conflict, but the individual has no idea which choice is the most morally acceptable. They don’t know which is the most ethically viable. They need more information and knowledge surrounding the two options before making an informed decision.

Ontological moral dilemmas

‘Ontological’ means the nature of something or the relation between things. The options in this dilemma are equal in their moral consequences.
This means that neither of them supersedes the other. They are fundamentally on the same ethical level. Therefore, the individual cannot choose between the two.

Self-imposed moral dilemmas

A self-imposed dilemma is a situation that has been caused by the individual’s mistakes or misconduct. The moral dilemma is self-inflicted. This can cause a number of complications when attempting to make a decision.

World-imposed moral dilemmas

A world-imposed dilemma is a situation where events that we can’t controlhave created an unavoidable moral conflict.
An individual must resolve a moral dilemma, even though the cause of it is beyond his/her control. For example, this could be in times of war or a financial crash.

Obligation moral dilemmas

Obligation dilemmas are situations where we feel we are obliged to opt for more than one choice. We feel we are obliged to carry out an action from a moral or legal standpoint.
If there were just one option that is obligatory, then the choice would be easy. However, if an individual feels obliged to opt for several of the choices in front of them but can only choose one, which one should they choose?

Prohibition moral dilemmas

Prohibition dilemmas are the opposite of obligation dilemmas. The choices that are offered to us are all, on some level, morally reprehensible.
They can all be considered as wrong, but we must choose one. They could be illegal, or just plain immoral. An individual must choose between what would normally be considered as prohibited.
These are examples of some of the types of moral dilemmas that may arise. Our actions will affect not just ourselves, but many other people as well.
So, we should thoroughly consider the action before we carry it out. However, they are complex and problematic, and resolving them may seem an impossible task.

How to resolve them?

The largest struggle in trying to resolve a moral dilemma is recognising that whatever action you take, it will not be completely ethical. It will just be the most ethical in comparison with the other choices.
Philosophers have attempted to find solutions to moral dilemmas for centuries. They have discussed and attempted to find the best ways to resolve them, in order to help us live better and reduce the suffering that we may face.
Here are a few pieces of advice to help resolve moral dilemmas:

Be reasonable, not emotional

We have a greater chance of overcoming these struggles if we logically work through them. Analyse the aspects of the dilemma in order to better conclude what action is the greatest good. Emotion can cloud our judgment of what may be the best ethical outcome.

Choose the greater good or the lesser evil

Perhaps the soundest piece of advice is to conclude which choice allows for the greatest good, or the less evil. This isn’t simple and will take much consideration.
However, if there is an action that is on balance morally superior, despite other personal or social implications, then it is the best action to take.

Is there an alternative?

Analysing the situation in greater detail may reveal alternative options that were not immediately obvious. Is there an alternative choice or action that will resolve the dilemma better than the ones you have in front of you? Take time to recognise if there is.

What are the consequences?

Weighing up the positive and negative consequences of each action will give a clearer picture of the best choice to make. Each option may have a number of negative consequences, but if one has more positive consequences and less negative, then it is on the balance the right action to take.

What would a good person do?

Sometimes a useful thing to do would be to just simply ask: What would a good person do?
Imagine yourself as a truly virtuous and moral character and determine what they would do, regardless of your own character and the personal or social factors that may influence your decision.

Resolving moral dilemmas will not be easy

The dilemmas that we face will be complex and arduous. The advice given by philosophers will aid us when trying to resolve them.
However, it is not as straightforward as using one piece of advice to solve a single dilemma. Often, it will be a combination of many of them that will give us the best chance of taking the correct action. Most of the time, all of them will be relevant in every dilemma that we face.
But there is one thing that all of these methods of resolutions promote: the importance of reason. Moral dilemmas can seem so over-facing that our emotions can prevent us from making an informed decision. Or, they can misguide us into making the wrong decision.
Taking a step back to dissect and analyse the dilemma will allow for a better perspective on the situation. This allows you to see more clearly the consequences of each action, the goods and evils of each action and any alternatives that may present themselves.
However, perhaps the best piece of advice is just recognising that resolving moral dilemmas will not be easy. It will be difficult and may cause us deep anguish as we wrestle between conflicting moral options.
We are better equipped to face these dilemmas if we are aware of this. Thinking reasonably, and not being overwhelmed by the dilemma, will be a good start as well.

All my life I loved to be alone. Which does not mean that I was lonely. Alone and lonely is not at all the same, actually sometimes I felt completely the opposite: when I was alone I felt that I can truly feel the presence of the world and myself while with others I felt lonely. Interesting, is it not?
 
I just experienced naturally what I like and I don’t but I could not really understand why I am like that. I also did not know the real reason why, being overly sensitive to the people’s energy, I perceived that the more people are around me, like a crowd for example, the worse the energy in the surroundings usually are.

Of course everything changed gradually as I understood what is happening on this planet with the energetic misuse of the Archons, the ruling matrix social system, the implants that suppress our energy centers and so on.

After Cobra revealed the existence of the Implant Hemispheres on his blog, which is a breath taking revelation, I understood really what is going on behind the curtains.
Here’s the deal:
 
The Light forces are accelerating the clearing of non-physical negative entities and they are driving them out of all areas around the surface of the planet except from the so called implant hemispheres.

 

 
Implant hemispheres are areas of distorted spacetime continuum around the etheric implants. Each incarnated human being has received etheric implants by the Archons just before incarnating – the so called veil of forgetfulness. Those etheric implants are actually multidimensional black holes which contain anomalous matter and distorted quantum fluctuation. Each human being has three of those implants and they create a quite stable interference pattern which keeps the consciousness of the human being within the Matrix. This interference pattern creates an energy field of anomalous distorted spacetime structure around the implants with a radius of about 100 feet with the three implants in its center. This energy field was spheric until very recently. Last month the Light forces have managed to push the lower half of that spheric field of every human being towards the surface of the planet so now only the hemisphere above the surface remains. When many people are located close to each other, implant hemispheres tend to merge and create a unified distortion field. This is the main reason why the energies in large cities are not very good usually.

In the last week, many non-physical negative entities were driven out by the Light forces from all other areas into the implant hemispheres. These implant hemispheres are the only place where they are relatively safe from being cleared by the Light forces for now. The increased presence of Light is compressing the remaining darkenss. You were most likely able to feel this compression as extreme tiredness of the physical body which is undergoing intense tranformation. Many people also experienced energy attacks from the incoming negative entities and headaches because of increased implant activity. All this will be somewhat less intense from today onwards.

 

 
The most secure place for the negative non-physical entites to hide is in the sector of our implant hemisphere which corresponds to our traumatic experiences. When we experience a trauma, we tend to go out of the body and in that very moment usually negative non-physical entities attach to our energy field. Because the trauma is usually suppressed, we are not aware of those entities and they can carry out their plans undisturbed. This is the main reason the Archons have designed trauma-based mind programming. 

 

Until now, the existence of implant (hemi)spheres was one of the main secrets of Archons and the reason of their confidence in the last 25,000 years. This intel is released now because the increased activity of the Galactic Central Sun will begin to dissolve the implant hemispheres. When they are disintegrated, this will be one of the biggest victories of the Light forces in the last 25,000 years.
 
So this is basically explains EVERYTHING.  This is the reason people in big crowds become sometimes so controllable and crazy and more prone to programming and stupid behavior. Because of the Implant Hemispheres, conflicts and problems were always abundant when two or more people gathered for a common goal. This is the reason why spiritual revelations, awakening from the matrix and personal Soul development happened almost always when people spent much time alone, looking inward and looking for the answers inside.

But the trick and reason why this dark system is almost bulletproof is that even if you wake up, work on yourself, clean yourself energetically and de-attach as much as you can from the energetic bounds, as soon as you are close to other people who didn’t go through this inner changes, the old patterns, mental and emotional distortion and the dense vibrations try to come back or approach you again. Can you imagine how natural, satisfying and pleasant human connections could be and will be without these implant hemispheres? Unbelievable!

So now I now why I adore to be alone. It’s just so funny and upside down: we can connect more with the Universe, with High energies and vibrations and Angels usually when we are alone. We can breath and live from our Heart Center which is the key for balance so much more easily when we are alone.

Of course this does not mean that we cannot have amazingly wonderful and loving high vibrational experiences, breakthroughs and spiritual development with other people or groups. Sure we can and it’s so nice when that happens. It’s just that there is a whole control mechanism constructed exactly to prevent that. Just think about the million social norm and restrictions.

After so many layers of social programming, it’s a miracle if we can dig down and find some remains of who we really are and what we truly enjoy. So spending time alone to listen to your own guidance is always beneficial, in every situation. Try it!

When I am alone I feel that I can be myself. I can speak, move and behave in a way that I feel natural without feeling the societal pressure, which just wants us to be numb all the time like robots. I can dance and sing and breath any way that I feel pleasurable to do so. I can also think much more clearly and observe my feelings in a completely different way. Sometimes when I am surrounded with some people I just feel that my thoughts are fuzzy, I cannot focus and my emotions are also confused. As time passed throughout my life I could examine the energetic patterns and changes more and more. Now I can actually sense an energy field created withing multiple people especially in closed spaces that just tries to hinder and suppress high vibrational free expressions of the Soul, because these are not part of the Matrix of course.

Cobra stated that the first Mystery of the Goddess is Silence. Think about that for a minute. I am one of those people who, even though lived through very happy moments with other humans, if I had to specify the top ten happiest moments of my life, at least 7 of them would be Unbelievably Beautiful Moments which I spent: alone 🙂

And I would like to finish with an interesting but for me very deep truth that I just heard in my head once I went to a nice big empty cemetery from a stressful environment, which is:
“Silence is the most beautiful voice I have ever heard.”

It is sustainable because your life is a dynamic expression of your focus and you’re free to choose how you focus. When you live within your own energy field, you feel whole, clear, strong and steady. Your life makes sense to you. You feel at ease in your body and at ease in the world. This is how we suggest you live. We suggest you orient inwardly, for knowing, for clarity and for a sense of self. We suggest you embrace yourself exactly as you are and generously pour love upon your sense of self. The emotions possible from such a shift are tantamount to your most elevated sense of joy. If the West is now experiencing a meditation and Eastern philosophy fad rush, it has Alan Watts to thank for it.
Centuries before Alan Watts and his meditation guidelines popularized Eastern thought for western audiences, throngs of mystics and ascetics had been practicing numerous meditative paths on their way to enlightenment and self-realization.
The West was more focused on the esoteric thought that found its roots in Neo-platonic currents of thought reigning some Christian thinkers and denominations during the Middle Ages. Thus, the western world was actually late to the meditation party, until Alan Watts presented his meditation studies.
One may attribute this phenomenon to the fundamental differences between western and eastern culture and their values and perception of the world. The West relies more on material attachment and has a leaning towards individualism.
The West is also a younger civilization compared to other continents like Asia. Chinese and Indian civilizations are much older and have a larger legacy of thinkers, philosophers, and mystics.

But what is the relationshipbetween Alan Watts and meditation?

Well, let’s begin with the practice itself. What’s the real definition of meditation?

The English meditation is derived from the Old French meditacioun and the Latin meditatio. It originates from the verb meditari, meaning “to think, contemplate, devise, ponder”. The use of the term meditatio as part of a formal, stepwise process of meditation goes back to the 12th-century monk Guigo II.
Apart from its historical usage, the term meditation was a translation for Eastern spiritual practices. Texts refer to it as dhyāna in Hinduism and Buddhism. This stems from the Sanskrit root dhyai, meaning to contemplate or meditate.
The term “meditation” in English may also refer to practices from Islamic Sufism or other traditions such as the Jewish Kabbalah and Christian Hesychasm.
Aside from this purely etymological definition, however, there is no single interpretation or substantial definition on the nature of meditation.
The general popularized idea is that it is a practice of mindfulness and contemplation involving certain steps that one should follow in order to “make it work”. If “done correctly”, it can be beneficial to the training of the spirit, to attaining wisdom, internal clarity and peace, or even reaching nirvana.
There are as many ways to meditate out there as individuals; some use certain postures, chants, mantras, or prayer beads. Others can only meditate in a particular setting. Otherwise, they struggle to maintain their concentration.
Meditation can have massively beneficial effects on a person, from psychological wellness to physical health benefits. Some examples include reduced anxiety and risks of depression and other mental afflictions, to an amelioration of sleep patterns, to a general sense of wellness.
But is that the point of it? Does it even have a point? Should it have a point?
This is where Alan Watts comes in, declaring this particular notion of meditation as hubris.

Alan Watts on meditation

Born on the 9th of January 1915 in Chislehurst, England, Alan Watts spent most of his early childhood in boarding schools. This is where he received a Christian catechism he later described as “grim and maudlin”.
He went on to move to America, entrenching himself in religious studies, philosophy, theology and Buddhist thought. Thus, it was the start of the tremendous legacy he left behind.
The true beginning of that legacy was his 1957 seminal work, “The Way of Zen”, introducing the idea of Zen Buddhism to millions in the West. His book appealed massively to the younger generations. They would later go on to form the bulk of the 60’s “flower-power’ counter-culture.

Regarding Alan Watts’ views on meditation, one might best illustrate it using one of his most well-known quotes:

“You will feel like an onion: skin after skin, subterfuge after subterfuge, is pulled off to find no kernel at the center. Which is the whole point: to find out that the ego is indeed a fake -a wall of defense around a wall of defense […] around nothing. You can’t even want to get rid of it, nor yet want to want to. Understanding this, you will see that the ego is exactly what it pretends it isn’t”.
When it comes to meditation, Alan Watts does not support the concept of meditation as a task or a practice that one “does”. To meditate in order to attain a purpose defeats the purpose of meditating, which is that… it has no particular purpose, and it ought not to have one.
For, if one hypothesizes that to meditate is to let go of earthly concerns and be able to let themselves reenter the flow of creation and energy they are part of, then to look to the future instead of submerging in the moment, in being, nullifies the practice.
Meditation, for Alan Watts, does not have to follow the stereotype of the reclusive yogi who simply sits still under some waterfall. One can meditate while making coffee, or walking to buy the morning paper. His point is best illustrated in this video regarding guided meditation:

One only has to listen.

Not hear, not categorize, but listen. Let the sounds happen around you. Once you close your eyes, your ears will become more sensitive. You will be flooded by the minuscule sounds of everyday commotion.
At first, you will want to put a name on them. But as time goes on and the sounds ebb and flow, they stop having an individuality.
They are part of a flow that happens whether “you” are there to experience it or not. Same with your breath. You never make a conscious effort to breathe. Only when you begin to focus on it does it preoccupy you. They also happen as part of your being, as part of your nature.
Which brings us to the thoughts. The key secret to meditation, as Alan Watts kindly mapped out, is to let one’s thoughts flow as natural parts of their existence.
You could compare this to the flow of a river. One does not try to stop the river and put it through a sieve. One simply lets the river flow, and we must do the same with our thoughts.
Thoughts are not bigger or smaller, important or unimportant; they simply are, and so are you. And without even realizing it, you exist and operate within a fabric that we can perceive but never see.
This approach to meditation can help you finally live in the present moment as the whole of creation develops. And just like that, every moment is part of the mosaic of moments we inherently belong in.

Everything flows and exists, with no subjective value. And that realization in itself is liberating.

Thought Adjuster: “The purpose of material life at this stage is to get as close as possible to the eternal aim, to the achievement of perfection and the likeness to the Father. This task is going to take ages, but the foundation is established here, in this world. It is now when, as a creature, you can begin to get closer to the Creator and establish a working relationship with the Father through His Divine Presence: The Thought Adjuster within your being. This is the priority for those who aspire to achieve an eternal life of loving service and endless discoveries. 

“It is expected from human beings that they find a personal way to approach their Inner Master and take advantage of this resource to realize their potentials. Human awakening occurs when a person understands that he or she has been born for a purpose and knows how to start working to achieve it. This is enlightenment, but it is still far from the achievement of perfection. When a human being has the experience of knowing through faith that the Father gives us everything we need for our spiritual growth and for the achievement of the goals of eternity, an awakening that mobilizes all the resources of the personality for increasingly higher achievements takes place. Then a lasting peace begins to manifest itself in the lives of those who are no longer victims of trivial animal fears and trust that everything is always under perfect control. 

“This is just one of the first steps towards achieving perfection, but it is an important step, because you would know from now on where you should walk to reach the goal. True human maturity now manifests itself and the creature begins to strive more and more to follow the guidance of its Inner Master. This effort achieves a progressive harmonization with the Will of the Creator and facilitates spiritual growth. 

“Do not be discouraged by your mistakes and by your apparent lack of spiritual insight. All you need at this stage is the intention to be better, at doing the Will of the Father, to be increasingly closer to perfection. You are walking towards the true goal of time. If you stumble or deviate from the path, you simply must go back to it and continue. It does no matter how often your confusion takes you down a path that leads nowhere. Just have the courage and firmness to do whatever it takes to get back on the true path and carry on. 

“The Father has no preferences or distinctions among His creatures. It does not matter when you get to enjoy the banquet that has been prepared for you in the house of your Father in Heaven. What has been prepared for you will always be at your disposal and the only way to lose this glorious opportunity – this unconditional gift from God – is to stop walking and consciously refuse to move on. This is the great risk for those who feel so far away from the Divine Presence, that they forget that the Father Himself walks by their side on the paths of life. Do not allow this self-deception, this imaginary great separation, to discourage you so much that you remain paralyzed on a corner of the road. Always keep moving forward since each step gets you closer to your own divinity and the glorious goal of eternity.”

Restoration of Sonship

The deeper I have gone in relationship with the Father the more I have come to know the two priorities of the Father’s heart: the restoration of our sonship and the restoration of all things. My journals are filled with our conversations relating to sonship and restoration. These are some of the things He has spoken to me about:

The Father’s Heart

Knowing that God is our Father is one thing; choosing to pursue that relationship and allowing Him to father us is something else altogether. His desire is that we share His heart; that we get to know His ways as well as His works. As we carry His heart and grow in maturity, He will include us in the deliberations of the councils and assemblies of heaven. His deepest desire is for His children to return to the place of our conception within the recesses of His heart, so that we can truly know Him and have a deeper revelation of who we are as His sons, made in His image: co-heirs and co-creators.

Limitless

He desires to restore everything about us, including our identity, position, authority, abilities, knowledge, wisdom, relationship and connection to the created order. He desires to remove the limitations of the finite and the mortal nature of our minds and restore the limitlessness of our transcendent and infinite origins. We are relational beings, made in His image, of limitless creative potential.
We were conceived as limitless, immortal beings like our Father. He never intended the limited, restricted, finite, mortal existence which mankind now experiences because of choosing the DIY path instead of the Tree of Life. Restoration of our sonship encompasses possibilities far beyond the wildest dreams of even the most creative minds. I can imagine eyes capable of seeing all wavelengths of light, ears capable of hearing all wavelengths of sound, bodies capable of multidimensional travel and existence, minds capable of creative expression, bodies capable of instantaneous healing. I can imagine doing the works Jesus did, and greater works: controlling the molecular structure of water, becoming invisible, creating and manipulating matter, telepathy (knowing people’s minds and hearts) and telekinesis (‘immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going’), creative thought, translation, bilocation, pre- and post-cognition, time travel…
If I can imagine those things, then the true potential of restored sonship lies far, far beyond them.

Priority

He told me, “Son, your sonship is the only priority you need to focus on.” The purity of restored relationship between the Father and His sons and daughters is His deepest desire; the restoration of all things is its outworking. “This is the love agenda where all things of the created order will be returned to relational connectedness within My unity. Son, no one who becomes intimately acquainted with the thoughts and intentions of love revealed through knowing Me could fall to see their destiny within the desires of My heart.”

All things

Just as Paul wrote, God is continually ‘working all things together for good’. That is how they were designed to work. All things were created to work together, unique and individual in themselves, yet only complete within the harmonious union of the whole. The removal of all fragmentation, fracturedness and brokenness in all its forms is the ultimate goal of restoration:
 
Personal restoration of spirit, soul and body to original intention, condition and functionality

Spirit to God relationship
Spirit to eternal identity
Spirit to all creation, physical and spiritual
DNA restored to 12 strands
Spirit soul and body
Everything within the soul – mind, emotions, will, conscience, imagination, reason, choice – restored to innocence
All brokenness, fragmentation, separation, isolation and rejection restored
All needs met for harmony, relationships, intimacy, union, unity, love, joy and peace
Mind restored to full creative capacity
Body restored to health and wholeness and all supernatural abilities
Breath of life restored
Restored destiny and purpose
Restored inheritance, identity, birthright, position, authority
Spirit being, to living being, to godlike being

Expanding

That shalom, that wholeness and peace, will carry on expanding: there will never be an end to its increase within His ever-increasing kingdom. And we are intended to be instrumental in the government of that kingdom. The restoration of our relationship as sons must lead to our exercising responsibility commensurate with our sonship. We will learn to rule, not only over what is already created but over what we create. We already have the ability to create; however, because of lost identity we have created mainly chaos. Knowing our identity and restored to sonship, our capacity to create beauty and order will increasingly manifest around us.
The restoration of the sons of God will be like Joseph coming out of the dungeon prison to take up the second highest position in Egypt; we will emerge from obscurity and shame to be invested, enthroned, seated in the heavenly places; ruling and reigning as the mountain of the house of the Lord.
